I’ve been going to Boon Chu for several years now. I still go there even if I already moved to another state. I always bring my visitors here and would recommend them to friends from time to time. Their food feels like a piece of the Thai home. As of this press time, I went there with friends. We had the panang curry, the pad thai, pag ka prao, dim sum and soft shell crab. For dessert, we had mango sticky rice. I just hope, each time I go there, that they have a branch in every state. I assume they can’t because their chef’s taste is hard to replicate. The server is also very courteous, she’s been there since my first visit to their store.

My mom and I have been to this place and ordered green papaya salad, pad kee mao, and many others. The food was wonderful, and the service was fantastic. The atmosphere was that there were people in the restaurant, and that the waiters were busy taking orders, and many others.

Bad service from the old lady on July14th and if she not ready to work at 11:30am don’t work. She very rude with us.
The chili hot sauce on the side was really good!

Small spot but always hits the spot!
A hidden gem in Queens! It’s a small restaurant, but it never disappoints. This has always been my go to spot whenever I’m craving delicious Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. The flavors are authentic and satisfying every time. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

This is an affordable adorable small Thai restaurant with a lot of different options. The food is amazing here. The interior of the restaurant has this beautiful artistic wall paper and the waitresses are very attentive and kind. We got the chicken panag curry and the squid pad thai. They were both delicious.

My friend and I found this place by accident when we were a couple of blocks away and found out the restaurant we were going to visit had a 90 minute wait for a table. I am glad we ended up here. The service was spectacular and the food amazing. Great prices too. Seafood over rice for only $12.

Hidden gem alert in Elmhurst! If you haven’t been to Boon Chu Thai Place (83-18 Broadway), you’re seriously missing out on some of the most flavorful Thai food in NYC.
Let’s talk about the Frog Legs in Basil—crispy, tender frog legs stir-fried with fresh basil and chili sauce, served with white rice. It’s bold, aromatic, and absolutely unforgettable. Don’t knock it till you try it—this dish is next level.
Then there’s the B.B.Q. Beef—juicy marinated beef straight off the grill, packed with smoky flavor and perfectly paired with a spicy lime dipping sauce that kicks it up even more. You’ll be dipping everything in that sauce, trust me.
And the Home Spring Rolls? Golden, crispy perfection. Fresh, crunchy, and super satisfying—these are some of the best spring rolls I’ve had in the borough.
If you're in Queens, Boon Chu is a must. Come hungry, leave happy.

If you’re craving real Thai flavors, BoonChu Thai Place is a must-visit! The crispy pork basil here is packed with heat and flavor—perfectly spicy and aromatic. The pork nam tok is another highlight, especially when paired with sticky rice.
But the real star of the meal was the Thai fish cakes—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
What truly made our visit special was the lovely Thai server who took care of us with such warmth and thoughtful recommendations. Thank you so much—we’ll definitely be back!

if it’s possible would give zero stars. I don’t recommend this place because in the end of the food I saw there were like pieces of hair in the pad see ew noodles. Never coming back.
Ordered the mango sticky rice for takeout. When we ate it the coconut cream sauce was very salty???? It’s supposed to be a coconut sweet dessert but the coconut sauce was extremely salty in flavor where it was just inedible. I’m pretty sure they used salt instead of sugar by accident. We called the restaurant and the lady offered no apology or refund or replacement. She just said oh okay let me tell the chef and hung up. Absolutely terrible
Sometimes you get served stale rice… like what’s up with that… it kinda legit makes or breaks the entree….pleasee don’t ever serve stale rice again…
