Good food great place
Smells like heaven
I love this bakery—they make some of the best Filipino baked goods, with signature items I haven’t seen anywhere else. Their customer service is also great, which adds to the experience. They offer unique items like ube cheese pandesal and corned beef hash pandesal, which my father-in-law loves. Their menu is similar to Red Ribbon, but with a more homemade touch.
That said, I completely understand they’re a family business, but the prices are steep. A cup of coffee is $3, and today, I bought their ube flan—a small piece—for over $6, which is wild. Red Ribbon charges a little less and actually gives you a full slice. I’ll still come back, but I’ll be more selective about what I buy.
Best halo halo in NYC don’t waste your time anywhere else!!
The ube cake is 🔥 👌🏽
We had some yesterday for a co-workers birthday and I can't wait for the next celebration!!

Amazing!
Used to always get pastries here. But in the past couple months or so, they’ve been selling leftovers. They don’t make them fresh anymore. And I went during opening hours around 9am. They’re clearly reusing what was left from the prior day or 2. Sad and disappointing because they used to make ube cheese pandesal really well.
Sometimes it’s hard to find individual slices here but that’s okay , it just means it’s sooooo damn good that it’s sold out haha. I really want to get the sapin sapin and the custard flan ube slices but usually sold out. But nonetheless it’s a1!! I had Both, and both are quality imo.
Crazy good ube cake, I just cant get enough of it. They also have a lot of food tasting you shouldn't be missing out on. Sarap!
Kape't Torta is a great little Filipino bakery in Elmhurst where you can grab some breakfast and a hot coffee to start your day. Their torta is delicious, and the ube ensaymada is a must-try. They also have a good selection of Filipino chips and other products. If you're in the area, be sure to check it out!

Would go back for the halohalo and the ube cake was pretty good. The frosting wasn't too much. We actually liked the cream of the cake!
Maybe we went later in the night but the round ube cheese bread was dry and stale on the bottom...
The cake with flan was ok.
Server was nice.
:)
I'd give the other balls another try next time I go.
