The guy was very nice and very accommodating but the old lady was very discriminative. She dismissed my request of having a name on the bday cake and instead gave me 1 single candle and popper. Very rude. When a foreign customer came in , she just can’t be more excited to serve. What a hypocrite.
the ube cake is DELICIOUS! not too sweet and perfectly moist and soft. the pan de sal was also so good. definitely recommend checking out this bakery!
Very yummy ube buns, but they ran out of their halo halo :( wanted to try that so bad
- Ube cheese pandesal ($1.60): 9/10, so delicious and affordable. Must heat at home tho, otherwise it’s cold and the cheese inside is hard. But when reheated, the ube cream is really yummy! Went well w the cheese. Wish there was more filling tho. Originally only bought one, ate it, and then went back and got three more to heat up later lol
- Cheese drizzle pandesal ($1.50): 6/10, mid and also had to reheat at home

The guy was rude. I walked into the place and he was attending a customer. I just smiled and said hi, he did not acknowledge me. I was like ok, I’m from NYC too so didn’t take it personal. Then I proceeded to wait 10 minutes, he did not look at me, did not say to wait or anything. He kept talking to the customer (filipino) and what looked like recounting her money over and over again. It seemed like he was purposely trying to waste time so he didn’t have to tend to me. After 15 minutes, I walked out. He didn’t say anything then either. Racism at its finest. Business will suffer with that attitude.

Amazing Ube cake!!!
The buns, pandesal, pan de coco, ube cake, mango cake, and ube flan are all delicious. Really well done and fantastic.
However, not a huge fan of the halo halo. Probably just personal preference.

Bought a whole ube cake and it seems like it wasn’t fully done on the inside. The bottom part was still like raw. But other than that it’s definitely a delicious.

This place is definitely worth the hype! This is my first time trying a fully Ube cake and Ube pandesals. They were both so yummy - we had to microwave the pandesals because it’s a 2hr commute to and from this cafe and home!! But the microwave did not remove any of the pandesal’s deliciousness.
We were disappointed by the lack of the Ube drink both times we went… once in the afternoon (3pm) and second later at night (7pm).

Really good… 🥰🥰🥰 ube cheese with american coffee
Got the chocolate almond and ube cake slices, total $8.60. Chocolate one was nice and rich, brownie/fudgey like. 8/10. The ube cake was light, good ube flavor. 8.5/10. It's a small store with only 2 workers. Came in on a Saturday afternoon and waited maybe 30 mins to get my 2 slices.

Pan de coco is not good, halu halo is average. The person serving is not so welcoming when serving their co-filipinos as oppose to a different race. I’ll give it a 2-star but i must admit that their ube-cheese pandesal is really, really good!

We love the ube cakes from here, some of the best we've ever had! A perfectly balanced cake in sweetness, ube flavor and very moist. The staff is also very friendly. Please give Kape't Torta a try!

I’ve had the cake slices here and thought they were good, so I was excited to come back. I got the halo halo, which I usually love, but their ice tasted like jolly ranchers to me and I only ate about 1/5 of it. I thought maybe it’s my problem for not liking this kind. To make up for that, I went to buy an ube ensaymada. The cashier was grabbing it from the cheese ensaymada section so I emphasized the fact that I wanted an ube one. He assured me that they’re the same, but when I bit into mine, there was only cheese. I showed him and he gave me one from the ube section. Somehow AGAIN it only had cheese inside. I just gave up and ate half of it, but as I was about to leave I just showed the cashier to let him know (and maybe prevent other customers from disappointment). He wasn’t apologetic at all, just a bit shocked. Don’t think I’ll ever return sadly

Came here for the Ube cake. Delicious, moist, and great tasting cream. Also the Ube with flan cake is a new favourite!
