Great little restaurant to get a soup and sandwich! My personal favorite is their Cobb salad. One of Elmira’s only FRESH choices of food. The staff is all so personable and sweet. Only wish their hours were more accessible for the average working person.

I called Barb to cater a 2-day event that we were having in the area. She listened to my requests and came up with two wonderful menus. Both were absolutely delicious and big hits with our attendees! I will definitely be reaching out again in the future.

It's been years since I've stopped by for soup and a sandwich. Barb's didn't disappoint! We had French onion soup and chicken salad; chicken noodle soup and grilled cheese. All of the soups are homemade and OUTSTANDING! Sandwiches are top-notch, as well. Stop by and say hi. Grab a fabulous lunch. I promise that you'll leave with a smile!

Great place! Turkey sandwich was excellent. Waitress was quick and attentive. I’ll stop again when I’m in the area.

An Elmira icon. We loved the decor, the delicious sandwiches and delectable soups. Above all we couldn't stop talking about the friendly, good natured servers and kitchen staff. A community loving business who regularly contributes to helping support good causes both human and pets.

Very good local spot to have a quick lunch and chat. My wife and I ordered sandwiches and 2 bowls of their special ‘chicken and wild rice’ soup. Absolutely delicious! The service was awesome and the servers were super friendly.

The food was ok I guess I'm not used to ny food anymore but it was better than going to McDonald's I'm a southern so we add more flavor to our dishes but it was a cute place

Italian wedding soup was amazing! BLT was great. Loved them both.

Parking: There is limited handicapped parking and a ramp and entrance in the back. While it is on the first floor, it is elevated with steps to a deck with shaded outside seating and an entrance on the front. Ramp looks like it goes to the back side of the deck. Usually street parking nearby.

Soups are delicious, especially the French Onion. I highly recommend that one.
