Don't let the name of the place mislead you, this is Elmira's only local Indian place! You can get halal chicken/lamb over rice at a few places around here, but no where has authentic Indian food, street foods, and curries. Samosas were pretty good, Garlic naan was excellent, and the chicken curry tasted great, very good balance of spice, and the chicken was incredibly tender and delicious! They only started serving Indian food a month ago. This is our first try at it. I got the butter chicken and garlic naan, and they're both delicious. It's a takeout restaurant, so they haven't put much effort into atmosphere, although the family was dining in the back room and I enjoyed hearing Indian voices.Vegetarian options: They are serving Indian food now, so there are many vegetarian and halal entries

I just ordered a few things, chicken curry, pop corn chicken and fry’s, and the wife got a chicken gyro and fry’s. I was super impressed with the portions, and the food tasted great, was nice and HOT. I highly recommend this place.
