I stopped at Curlys for dinner while in the area, it was my first time here. I wish I could remember my servers name, but she was fantastic! You could tell a lot of the older customers were regulars and she greeted every one of them like they are old friends, and knew what they were going to order. She was very sweet and made the experience worth it. I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was pretty good.

So my husband and I decided to go to here for dinner (we got my dad a fish fry to go so we didn't want to stay too long).. My husband got a Texas hot with Mac salad. I got the seafood platter with fish, shrimp and clam strips. Husband said his food was really good(I tried his mac salad, it was delicious) My food looked really good.. I ate some shrimp and clam strips which were really good. I figured I'd save my fish for later... 5 hours later - I went to eat a piece...

Curly's Chicken House has been a local favorite since before I was born. The chicken is top-notch, no matter how you order it. Everything from appetizers to sides to desserts taste like they were made in Grandma's kitchen with love. Don't just go there for the chicken and dessert, though! Stop by and have some breakfast. You won't be disappointed. The staff is awesome, as well. You can even pick up a few souvenirs or local handmade crafts before you leave.
