This is a response to the customer that gave a one star review for a misunderstanding. You hand a server cash and she accidentally thinks you gave her a tip because she is crazy busy serving others as well as you. She is one of the most honest people you could ever know. How about a bit of grace towards people and do not imply she was trying to steal your payment. Good grief. Be better.

Updating my review. We tried Maple Lawn again. This time the wait staff were attentive and kind. The fish fry was amazing. The rest of my tables food was very good as well.

Mom & pop type of place. Good food. Make their own ice cream on sight.

We eat here occasionally and the food and service has always been good. Very disappointed with breakfast today. Ordered the bacon cheeseburger omelette. The meat was definitely not fresh ground beef as was listed in the menu. You could see that the meat was sliced and it tasted just like meatloaf and I suspect it was leftover meatloaf. It was dry and not very warm and yet the egg portion was hot. The cooks denied it to the waitress but I don't believe them. I ate it as it was horrible to eat but it sure wasn't a cheeseburger flavor or even close to it. I surely won't order it again.

The server apron states "supervisor"....Mary Beth, I feel badddd for your crew! Unfortunately, we had a big group and restaurant policy stated a mandatory 18% gratuity which Mary Beth obviously used as a crutch when lacking even the smallest amount of customer service. The food was overpriced and the menu selection was extremely disappointing. Won't be back here.

The first restaurant I ever ate at that I left hungry. My friends and I go on my days off. I had not eaten all day. It is the only place that I can get liver and onions. The cook always does an amazing job. Just right, not tough. I'll recommend you every time for quality. I politely asked my server if I could order extra meat. I said I would GLADLY pay more if I could be accommodated. I was flatly told that she didn't see how that was possible, she couldn't see how she could bill for it. I was offered an extra salad if I was that hungry. My request was not forwarded to her supervisor or owner. This was on a Friday night and the place smelled amazing! I was there for the meat and my stomach was rumbling. I wasn't even offered the option to purchase two meals! I payed my bill, four adults and deserts. It was over $121.00. I left angry with myself that I barely tipped 10%. I am a generous tipper. Usually over 20%. Really! You let me leave there still hungry?

Went there with two others and were sat next to a table of at least 12 people who were quite loud and had to sit somewhere else (while there were plenty of other seats further away). Staff were nice but the calve liver was overcooked and the chicken was quite flavorless and tough, while the onions on both were hard and barely sauteed. The replacement burger I was offered for the liver was well cooked and juice, but with middle-of-the-road store bought buns it was just alright. The staff were nice enough to offer me it thoug. Ice cream was good but how do you mess up ice cream? I understand it's probably an ice cream shop before a restaurant but when you have a dine-in area I'd expect the food to be more than servicable, hence the three stars.

This is usually my favorite place to eat breakfast, however this time everything was burnt. Toast, cornbeef hash and my hash browns were all burnt. Hopefully next time it will be better.

My wife and I go here all the time. It's our favorite place for breakfast. Hands down the best pancakes around...and I don't even like pancakes all that much... Just a great all American breakfast spot. Love it.
