Good atmosphere. Was a busy brunch crowd but we were sat quickly. Delicious bloody Mary’s! Menu had a variety of selections but They were sold out of the quiche. Food was good. They have a great outdoor seating area that would be enjoyable during the summer months.

Dietary restrictions: Lots of vegan options

This restaurant is top notch. I had the most delicious tomato soup with grilled cheese and a great pasta, garlic bread and caesar salad via takeout. The service was excellent and I will be eating there every time I’m in Elmira for Aviators hockey!

Being a little upscale restaurant. We was greeted with " How are you Guys doing ". A more proper way would be "Welcome to our establishment is this your first time dining with us". Maybe something similar. You Guys don't sound too professional. Anyway the food and atmosphere was good. But my fries was over done while My guest had perfect.

Rye and The Garage, Elmira

Rye, along with its sister restaurant, The Garage, delivered an exceptional dining experience. In a town like Elmira, where trendy and upscale dining options are limited, Rye brings a refreshing vibrancy to the local food scene. The bar and coffee shop staff were not only friendly and professional but truly dedicated to enhancing the overall experience.

For brunch, I ordered the steak and eggs. The steak, cooked to a perfect medium rare, was impressively tender for a flank cut, served atop a bed of perfectly crispy, well-seasoned fries. The variety of mimosas, coupled with a beautifully presented latte, further elevated the meal.

I look forward to returning to Elmira and exploring more of what Rye has to offer.

We both ordered a burger. I ordered fries and a side of onion rings. Took 50 minutes to get our food. The waitress didn't check on us a single time. No napkins were given. Food came out hot and fresh. The burger was good. As were the fries and onion rings. But $5 for 6 onion rings doesn't seem worth it. Nice and clean. But the smell was off putting. Seems like maybe they were doing construction or flooring. We will not be returning but I would still suggest people to at least try.

Such a great place. Food is excellent. The bar is well stocked and the bar tenders know their craft! The courtyard is really a great new feature with water fountain, gas fire tables and shade. I great venue for Elmira and the region. A must stop even if just a tourist passing through!

We are visiting from upstate New York. I got chicken wings and my husband got a burger. These both were fabulous. The wait staff and the bartender are also very attentive and super sweet! We had a few of the drinks and they were really good too! We will come back here again when we're in the area!!

Rye is The Best restaurant in Elmira. Sorry, the rest of the restaurants. The menu changes regularly but the key items are on point and have people coming back. And live music and the martinis rival those of Starlite.

Visiting Corning NY for the weekend and found this wonderful restaurant. It takes quite a bit to impress us and Rye did. From the moment we walked in we were treated like family. From the owner Charlie to the waiter Parker and manager Liz, everyone was awesome. The food and drinks, top notch. We only wish we lived closer. We arrived on a Saturday evening and enjoyed ourselves so much that we're coming back for brunch on Sunday. Can't wait.

Had to work out of town so stopped here to grab dinner before heading back to Syracuse - bartenders were phenomenal (I like to sit and eat at the bar on most occasions), great intimate atmosphere with people coming in and out to sit outside on that beautiful day, and the prices were typical for the kind of place they're running. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it took over an hour to get the food, I never inquired as to why, figuring they probably had a million great excuses, but if I'm paying $36 for the dinner I have certain expectations :) keep up the great work RYE and I'll definitely be back when I'm your way!
