just had an absolutely fantastic dinner at Rye in Elmira, and I’m still blown away. From the first bite to the last, every detail was spot on — beautifully presented, expertly seasoned, and bursting with flavor. Honestly, I felt like I was dining at a high-end restaurant in Manhattan, not upstate New York.

The atmosphere was warm and upscale without being pretentious, the service was thoughtful and polished, and the entire experience exceeded all expectations....

Great spot. I was a bit apprehensive when Rye Horrigans was taken over years ago. Completely different place, prices were a bit inflated. But over the years, they have purchased surrounding properties and made great improvements to the area and have made a name for themselves as a great place to have some drinks, food, and socialize if you decide to.

Also, they close at 8 which at first I thought would be a poor choice, but actually adds to the charm by closing...

Recommend trying their brunch, from the chicken and waffles to the eggs Benedict you will not be disappointed, even us non-breakfast people have opinions.

The mimosas are must have including the peach flavored. While mimosas isn’t my first choice, they were so good. I will be back for a Blood Mary.

I can’t commend the wait staff and bar service enough. There was a mishap with a tray of drinks and the staff handled it so well. I know first...
