Casaletto Reviews
The restaurant was recommended to us by the front desk clerk at the hotel where we were staying nearby. The clerk said it was good, but we were blown away! Our entrees were creative in composition and absolutely delicious. The service was prompt, attentive, and very pleasant. The prices were very reasonable, especially for the fine quality delivered.
We strongly recommend Casaletto to anyone passing along the I-287 corridor east of the Mario Cuomo / Tappan Zee Bridge.

Casaletto is a family-owned, authentic Italian restaurant where diners feel at home. It is a fantastic spot for dates, featuring a cozy fireplace and an excellent wine selection. The menu showcases traditional Italian dishes, including eggplant Parmesan, chicken a la sorrento, and a delicious dessert tray. Valet parking is available, making access easy. This is by far the best for Italian cuisine in the New York area, offering traditional old-world dining. Located in Elmsford in Westchester County, Casaletto exemplifies 'dining' out with real waiters. The food quality is excellent, and portions are generous, with every chicken dish surpassing home cooking. The fish is fresh, and the steak is huge, rivaling high-end steakhouses. Pastas are excellent, and seafood embodies everything good seafood should be. The calamari is the best tasted, and the restaurant tempts diners with daily specials. There is nothing but praise for the service and quality of food, especially for events. Parking is not a problem as they have their own lot. It is a gem right under your nose in Westchester! The rustic old Italian feel and décor create a warm atmosphere. The staff is attentive and formally dressed. The menu offers a wide variety of choices, and the specials are hard to resist. The dessert cart is equally tempting. It was quite busy for a Tuesday evening, with a steady stream of families and friends. The spinach gnocchi with added sausage is delicious and perfectly sized. Recent reviews highlight the amazing food and friendly servers, with particular mentions of the in-house pesto gnocchi and the broccoli rabbit pasta as must-tries. Overall, it is a great place to impress a date or enjoy with family.
