About Casaletto

Casaletto is a family-owned, authentic Italian restaurant where diners feel at home. It's a great spot for dates, with a cozy fireplace and excellent wine selection. The menu features traditional Italian dishes, including eggplant Parmesan and chicken a la sorrento, as well as a delicious dessert tray. Valet parking is available. This is by far the best for Italian cuisine in the New York area, offering traditional old world dining. The restaurant is located in Elmsford in Westchester County. Casaletto is a fine example of 'dining' out, with real waiters. The food quality is excellent and portions are generous. Every chicken dish is better than home cooking. The fish is fresh. The steak is huge and as good as any high-end steak house. Pastas are excellent. Seafood is everything good seafood should be. The calamari is the best tasted. The restaurant tempts with daily specials. There is nothing but praise for the service and quality of the food for events. Parking is not a problem since they have their own lot. It's a gem right under your nose, Westchester! The rustic old Italian feel and décor gives a nice feeling of home. Staff was attentive and formally dressed. The menu has so much to choose from plus the specials were hard to say no to. Same for the desert cart. It was hard to pass up. It was quite busy for a Tuesday evening with a steady stream of families, small groups or friends. The spinach gnocchi with added sausage was delicious and the perfect size. It is a great place to impress a date or take your family.
