There are more Italian restaurants than you can count in the area but in my opinion, few of them come close to Casaletto for service, quality and a fair price. There is 'eating out' and 'dining' out ; Casaletto is a fine example of the latter. Real waiters who do it for a living. Excellent food and generous portions. Castleton was ok, not the best place we've ever been, but good. Food was good, service ok.
We were there for a function. There was a DJ, at one point one of the waiters started to dance near a female guest, at first she played along. Later when she was on the dance floor he proceeded to join her on the dance floor. When he started to whisper in her ear, that's when she put an end to it. Not professional, not respectable, completely out of line.

The restaurant was recommended to us by the front desk clerk at the hotel where we were staying nearby. The clerk said it was good, but we were blown away! Our entrees were creative in composition and absolutely delicious. The service was prompt, attentive, and very pleasant. The prices were very reasonable, especially for the fine quality delivered.
We strongly recommend Casaletto to anyone passing along the I-287 corridor east of the Mario Cuomo / Tappan Zee Bridge.
