Passed by today and they are closed for the season. Google shows them open but it is incorrect

I have been meaning to try this place for a while now and lucky for me, I was down in Elmsford today.

It is a takeout place so don't expect the ambiance of a restaurant. However, the owner is super friendly.

The focaccia bread and mozzarella were homemade and taste it amazing.

I can't wait to go back.

I bought the Wall Street sandwich, and OMG! it was absolutely amazing! If you like real Italian, cold cuts, with your bread made fresh daily, you must give this place a try! You will not be disappointed….

I really wanted to like this place- I’ve been going to All Antico Vinaio for years and years, and Milladoro is practically in my .
But it’s just a poor imitation of the original.
There are two people manning the shop, the person making the sandwiches didn’t want to take the order- he wasn’t doing anything else- just didn’t want to take the order- so I just stood there for a few minutes. Unfortunately, the person who was supposed to have taken the order was too busy on the telephone to bother with that, so more waiting.
Apparently they are only a sandwich shop during the day- at night I think it’s a pizza place. I sure hope they’re better at pizza.
The bread isn’t fresh, there’s only one person making the sandwiches so you’re gonna be waiting, and it’s NOT cheap. Which would be fine if everything else was.
The sandwich itself is just ok. Certainly nothing to write home about.
Huge disappointment

Got a diavola from this place and it’s stunning. Just an amazing sandwich that reminded of the ones I had in the markets of Florence. Highly recommended.

Treated myself to an authentic, gourmet sandwich and I’m so happy that I did…every bite was delicious, and I was full after half, so I got to enjoy it as a second meal as well! I highly recommend Milladoro for anyone that wants a sandwich that you will remember
