Ordered delivery because everyone raves about this place. Ordered several dishes and there was hardly any flavor other than oil and grease. All of the main dishes tasted the same. The scallion pancakes were super greasy and tasted like nothing. Not with the $100 on food.

Everytime we go to visit our kids in Binghamton we will stop by this restaurant. Food is great and authentic. Even though some of the foods are made to cater everyone else but would rated 85/100.

Probably the best Chinese food in the area. service can be hit or miss depending if the regulars are working. If it's the younger crew they can be slow and seem overwhelmed easily. With that said I'd still highly recommend.

The perfect place for delicious food and quiet conversation!
On our way to visit my son at college, we were looking for a place to eat. Luckily, we found Moon Star Restaurant. We really love the food there. Very surprised to find very good and authentic chinese food so far away from NYC. We got the Beef Brisket Noodle Soup and General Tso's Chicken. The food was absolutely terrific. It was really an oasis for us after a long drive.

On our way to Buffalo and found this restaurant with high ratings and decided to make a quick lunch stop. So surprised to find a nice clean restaurant and more surprising the food taste so good. Can’t believe Binghamton has authentic Chinese food and I’m a New Yorker with very high standards. Highly recommend this place if you craving fresh yummy Chinese cuisine. My husband love the hot and sour soup. I love the scallion pancakes, general tso chicken and boneless fish dish we ordered

Very fresh and delicious food! Clean inside and servings are plentiful! I noticed many take-outs that paasers-by ordered. Packaged nicely. All of the servers were veey kind, courteous and nearby for any request one had.
Only suggedtion: place all families with kids way in b the Back someplace. Loud kuda disturb others by their yelling and screaming. Lucky for me, the father suggested his rather large size family Not to sit where all of us single people sat, but be placed in a nice table 'further back'. I was very happy. There were at least 3 loud small children 'screeching' the entire time. I was only 1/4 done eating. WoW....parents are 'used' to all this loud holllering from small children. Many of us Are Not used to loud Noises when dining. Please tone the kids down in public at least! Manners are So Important when growing up! ♡

If you're from NYC, trust me when I say this is the best Chinese food in Binghamton. The Chinese food that I've had before from other places were subpar/mediocre at BEST. Moon Star is BOMB and it reminded me of home. Don't waste your time or money on other places!! THE BEST HANDS DOWN!!!
