A hidden gem in the price chopper plaza! I was pleasantly surprised of the cleanliness of the restaurant, friendliness of the employees and quality of their cuisine! My husband ordered the beef negamaki and stated it was better than another famous japanese restaurant that we frequented. I had chicken teryaki and it made my mouth water. My daughter loves sushi and thenportion was impressive. She ate it all. Will be ordering again!

The exterior sign currently only says "sushi," so it can be easy to miss, but it is worth finding for an outstanding dining experience. Customers appreciate the detailed descriptions of the food and the polite, informative staff. The fish and all other food are great, very fresh, and wonderfully delicious. Sakura also offers vegetarian options and is wheelchair accessible. The ambience transports guests to Japan, and the sushi is beautifully prepared, tasting fresh and delicate. The quality of the food exceeds what they charge, offering excellent value. The sushi rice has a nice sweet/vinegar taste, and the fish is of decent quality, making it a place that can be enjoyed casually every day. The staff, including the sushi chef and his wife, are very hospitable, providing extra squid and fried squid for free. It is a great place to visit again and again.
