Beautiful and delicious sushi and meals. From the rolls to the tempura to even a side salad everything is always perfect. Definitely a yes for us! And while Washington is torn up, there is ample parking behind with a rear restaurant entrance.
Lover’s is the absolute best sushi restaurant in the area. Fantastic flavors, fresh ingredients, and the price you’re paying is reflected in the amount of food you get. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. I haven’t gotten sushi anywhere else since my first Lover’s experience.

Lover's Sushi & Hibachi offers delicious and fresh sushi, including vegetarian options like the vegetable and avocado rolls. The restaurant has a pleasant, quiet atmosphere and attentive service, whether dining in or ordering online. Chicken hibachi and specialty rolls, like Sweet Heart and Godzilla, are standouts. Despite the deteriorated neighborhood with several closed storefronts, the location is easy to find and parking is convenient.
The hostess/waitress is very kind and welcoming. Customers enjoy the delicious Japanese green tea, which is kept filled. The 3 sushi roll lunch special, steak bento box, and sushi pizza appetizer are popular choices. The rolls, such as the eel with avocado, spicy tuna, and salmon skin, are tasty, though the eel may be crispier than expected. The bento box with steak looks and tastes fantastic, and the restaurant also offers ramen bowls and poké bowls.
While the lone sushi cook does a phenomenal job, the long wait times can be an issue, as they cannot manage 10 tables by themselves. Overall, Lover's Sushi & Hibachi is a wonderful treat, with beautifully presented and delicious sushi and entrees, a lovely ambiance, and excellent service.
