This is an ideal location for a restaurant conveniently located next to the ferry. The service is fast and friendly and the views of the lake are beautiful. The food is great and there is a decent option of cocktails and beer. This is a great place for a family lunch or dinner, great options for kids to have fun with games while the adults relax is this quiet lake side setting. I am excited to go back this summer and will be sure to bring my friends!

We came by boat and found the Old Dock to have great access for a larger boat (43') and a dock with sufficient width to be stable when the lake is rough. We had the French dip which we found to be excellent. The staff was prompt and friendly, and the view - it's wonderful. We sat under the tent on the deck to watch the boats and view the Vermont mountains across the lake. It's worth the stop.

Good views. Dog friendly. Sub par food. Everyone was friendly and good ambiance but the food was nothing to write home about. more a place to come with family and friends for appetizers and a drink maybe

We happened upon this lovely hidden gem after seeing a ferry sign off a highway. We crossed on the ferry and this quaint place was open. We stopped and had a beautiful afternoon lunching and having a beer while overlooking Lake Champlain, eating in New York, and seeing Vermont over the Lake. It was an experience I will remember forever. Food was great, waitress was great and the atmosphere exceptional. If we lived close, we would visit weekly.

While visiting the Burlington, VT area, girlfriend wanted to cross Lake Champlain. Someone in Burlington suggested we eat at this restaurant. Hostess informed wait time was 30 minutes; wait time was over an hour. Server Hannah dropped our chips on the floor & didn't replace, spilled dressing on girlfriends jeans. Salmon for my salad was rubbery so left entire salad.Called few days post & spoke with manager since I needed to calm down & manager stated there was nothing she could do. Had I said something that day, she could have. She said she received no complaints on October 1.If I happen to visit the area again, I’ll visit a different restaurant.

Only drink here. BYOF. Everyone who has been here knows this, so I will reiterate ADAMANTLY the following for newcomers: 1) the setting is great. The view is beautiful, the ambiance is great, the table setting is decent - how can you not enjoy it? 2) the servers are very friendly, if completely disorganized. The people who work the floor are nice, but it seems clear they are covering for a haphazard management and a kitchen that is run by feral cats. 3) the food is literally terrible. I don’t know how it’s even possible to mess up a BLT chicken club but they did. It was like eating cardboard and old mayonnaise with day old bacon strips and the charred remains of a bird that fell into a house fire. All our food was cold. COLD. Fries were cold. A toasted sandwich was cold. The BURGER WAS COLD. How does food even get this cold? Did they refrigerate it? They had time - it took 45 minutes. It’s like they went out of their way to see how terrible of a food experience they could make. Lastly, the artichoke dip is probably the most ridiculous attempt at food I have ever seen from a supposed restaurant in my life. A basic hors d’ouvre that ANYONE can look up on the internet how to make fabulous in about 5 minutes was literally just mayonnaise from a jar and some oily preserved artichokes mixed in. I think my 4 year old nephew cooks better than this. I still cannot believe they served this with a straight face. My suspicion is that they are filming everything and it’s a show about what level of terrible food people are willing to pretend to enjoy when presented with a good view. McDonalds is caviar compared to this. How is it possible that this happens? WHO is the chef??? A horse? I just can’t believe it.

Very nice atmosphere. A little expensive, but you're paying for a great view of the lake. Had a lobster roll, it was very good with a LOT of lobster meat in it. Very little parking lot, larger lot across the street, a narrow alley / driveway to get to the restaurant.

Went to the Old Dock House & Marina on Sunday night with family after a reunion on Saturday. I was the DD so didn't drink buy my wife said her Margarita was about 2 star. The wait for a table was minimal and the wait staff was all right. I had the Salmon ordered a little under medium rare. The Salmon was charred black on the end and dried out beyond eating. The rice was something that was kept in a pan all day and then scraped out to be served as a bed for the fish. Stuck together in clumps and very hard and crunchy. Everyone else's food was not as bad as mine so I was the only one who was disappointed with this evening meal. Will probably not go with the family next year for the Sunday dinner.

The enigma that is The Old Dock continues. No matter who the owner, they never seem to get it completely right. The first time this summer I left after an hour waiting despite there being a dozen or more available tables. Last night, took forever again, but wings and cauliflower appetizer were great. $32 lobster roll came out with less than a French fries worth of lobster, when I returned it, it came back not much better and tasteless, ugh, such potential, but I'm done for now....
