We had a nice time at LULU Taqueria! They have a huge menu of Tequila covering all types and many different brands under each type. Beer selection was good and Margherita was nice amd strong. I had a Beef Enchilada and it was very good. They also had a cute little bar attached that would be fun to hang out at. We didn't because it was triva night and we weren't into that! So all and all a good experience! Tell em Dave sent ya!

Really good tex-mex.
Will have to come back and try more of the menu. Place also doubles as a coffee shop in the am / afternoon, then tacos by night. Interesting concept. Works for me.
Will gladly come back again.

Lulu's has a great atmosphere and tons of cool drink options, but not the most traditional of Mexican Taqueria's but great food!

I never leave reviews but this is one of the worst meals I’ve had at an establishment, my whole table has had in a long time. They price each taco between $7-$9… I ordered three of them the tortilla was gritty flavorless and crumbled, everything was ice cold. The brisket, chicken and pork belly had no flavor what so ever. It was dry and unseasoned. There were 4 of us and we all were so sad how horrible our food was for the price, this place needs to care more because this is not ok. If you want good Mexican a few hundred feet away is rustic taco who is 10x more flavor. This seems like they using ingredients from the depression, and charging you inflated prices. We’re still very hungry after 3 tacos that cost $25.

The service was horrible, they barely checked in on us, had empty waters the whole meal, drink orders were wrong twice, and never got checked in.

I can’t exclaim enough how depressed and taken advantage of we feel after this meal.

This place just isn’t it. The ambience is strange, as you’re sat in a coffee shop that converts into a “restaurant” at night. That wouldn’t have mattered if the food & service was good, but unfortunately that was not the case.

We got sat at 6:25, food wasn’t delivered until 7:20. Drinks came out incorrect, and I even ordered a Modelo that never came out. Food was cold lacked flavor. Service was slow, food was expensive and overall, I will not be back here. Plenty of other much better Mexican restaurants around. Don’t waste your time.

My friend and I arrived at 6:30p without a reservation. The girls on the patio seemed annoyed we were there. They said it was a 30 min wait, so we said it was ok and they rolled their eyes. They said there was seating at the bar or inside. We decided to go inside. I haven’t seen my friend in a while so we were catching up, before we knew it 25 minutes passed by and no one even came to give us water. My friend got up and nicely spoke to the hostesses. They once again seemed very annoyed. Another 5 minutes passed before a waitress came. She said they didn’t know who had our table so she was just going to take it. It look 15 min before we got chips and salsa, and another 10 before we got our Palomas. When we finally got to order our entrees they were out of everything I wanted. I ended up going with a shrimp burrito like my friend was getting. Another 35min go by until we get our food. It was lack luster. The burrito had a soggy tortilla, had maybe 6 pieces of flavorless shrimp, and was mostly filled with lettuce, and was cold. The service was sub par. I will not be returning, nor recommending to anyone.

Bartender looks like he’s being forced to work there, if you want a menu thrown in your face with no introduction sit at this bar. Table service is much better here.

We showed up at 5 on a Thursday and were told we'd have to sit inside if we didn't have a reservation. ? We were the only people inside and there were tables open outside. I felt bad that the waitress had to come inside just for us.
Salsa 9/10
Carnitas taco 8.6/10
Chicken gordita 8.2/10 -- was a little dry needed a sauce.
Fish tacos. 5/10 (I ate my shrimp tacos first. Which might've been the problem)
Shrimp taco 9.5/10

Service was good, prices are good. A la cart.

Great experience. Staying in the area for a weeks work and had searched out restaurants online. This was number 4 and easily the best. Staff was very friendly and described all the dishes in detail offering their suggestions. I was impressed because the atmosphere / decor was not the typical cheesy Mexican. Prices were reasonable and the flavours were great. Yes we will be back.

Went to Lulu on a Wednesday night (there were 2 of us). Did not have a reservation but there were plenty of open tables available inside. Staff (manager?) at the host desk appeared very put out that we didn't have a reservation (was rolling their eyes). Inside the restaurant was frigid (AC turned up too high). Table was very sticky, as if it hadn't been properly cleaned. Wait staff was quick to take our order and we were told that they would bring out chips and salsa. Dinner arrived in about 20-30 minutes, no chips and salsa. No big deal. Food was filling and tasted decent - the pickled onions were quite good - but did not wow us by any means. There were only 2 other guests seated indoors with us and they left before our dinners even arrived, so we had the dining area mostly to ourselves. Had to wait quite a long time for anyone to ask how the meal was and if we needed anything else. Had to wait for quite a long time again for the wait staff to bring the check. We left feeling like we were an afterthought; lots of room for improvement in the customer service realm. We thought that we were the only ones but then overheard another guest commenting "no tip" as we were in our way out the door. Won't be going back.

Walked in with 1 other person at 5:30 on a week day. Was told they were completely booked until 7:30. Over half the restaurant was empty. I then had to ask the hostess if there was a bar we could sit at(I shouldn’t have to ask you). To which she said yes. Sat down at the bar, waited around 5 minutes and had to ask the bartenders for menus and water(I shouldn’t have to ask you). They were more concerned with loudly chatting to customers who already paid, that they seemed like they were friends with and polishing glasses. Mind you we are seated directly in front of them. Tacos were ok nothing impressive. Half of the tables in the dining area were still empty by the time we left as well. Whoever is managing these employees, do better. Very entitled young people with no concept of customer service.

I love coming here. The food is amazing and sitting outside is a must when the weather is nice. Service is good and I haven’t had an issue with a meal or wait time. Excellent place!
