I have eaten many good meals at McArdle's. Today, December 10th, I ordered something for lunch that is new to me on the menu. It was Pork Schnitzel. Our group had been talking about skiing, and I remembered sometimes I had had Pork Schnitzel in Austria and Switzerland on ski trips. These are countries famous for serving this delicious dish. The chef at McArdle's prepared this meal the best I have ever had. My good fortune began with the chef's presentation of the food which was so appealing to my senses. The flavors in this dish are the best and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend it.

Friday night dinner. Was in the area and stopped in, no reservation, parking lot seemed full. We got seating immediately for outside patio dining. It was a great evening and weather wise for Al fresco dining. Sturdy metal chairs and clean table. Staff was attentive but not rushing, pleasant and smiling. Our server Jamie seemed happy to outside and serving us. We interacted with other diners, all seemed happy with their meals. Steak tidbits and Haddock were cooked to perfection. Great portions and flavor. As I told John the owner cook staff can stay anomer week. LOL. We are looking forward to returning.

Always enjoyed going to Mc Ardle's in the past but the latest visit was disappointing at best. It was late afternoon and other than another table of 2 adults and 2 kids the place was empty. Waited maybe 10-15+/- minutes for our first greeting by a waitress then another 20 +/- minutes once ordered for our meal consisting of a fish fry and burger, both with fires. Nothing was hot as if it was just cooked and the burger appeared to be a re-do meaning it was a fresh cook which was kind of strange since we were told that they were just waiting for the burger. It was apparent that this was not recently cooked since it was not hot nor moist nor juicy. It looked like an extra burger from the day before and in the fridge overnight. Considering we were the only other 2 people in the place one would think that our order would be fresh and hot…..neither was the case.
We will not be back considering this was an $18 burger.

Really LOVED the Petite Filet Mignon, Dublin Lawyer Shrimp, Vegan Bolognese, Pot Roast Poutine!! Food was excellent, service was great, love the owner check-in! Highly recommend!! Also love the Resy on-line reservation functionality! 🙌🏻

This has to be the friendliest restaurant in our area. The staff is really friendly and attentive and the owner always treats you like a best friend. Many good choices and the pub pretzel is a great start for a great meal.
Tried them a few times over the years. 1st time, we had food poisoning. Second time, horrible service and overpriced and undercooked food. 3rd time, tried to call a pick up order (no one answered), ordered online, called again to ask for a later pick up time. The woman who answered had zero clues and the cooks had already started. I say "cooked" likely. Nothing was completely cooked! The items were basic, easy foods. Kids meals were supposed to come with a drink, we did not receive any. The chicken fingers, were 6 tiny popcorn chicken shaped and not cooked all the way. This was the last time we'll waste our $.
It would've been a bit more understandable if there were ANY patrons inside the restaurant at pick up...but it was empty!

I haven't been to McArdles in many years but the friends we were meeting have raved about it for the past month. So, we met there for lunch. The waiter took our orders on his computerized pad, and when the ROBOT delivered our food, basically we were beyond surprised. We sat there and just looked at this object. We then realized that we were supposed to serve ourselves. One of our friends has physical challenges and he had an extremely difficult time getting the plates from the lower shelf. No one was around to help. I don't know how long the plates were on the robot, but the meal was warm, and the waiter wasn't to be found. Impressed, I am not. This is just a message of warning. Plus, it was very difficult to justify a tip to the waiter let alone the robot.
