One of my favorite bars in the area! Great music, never too crowded. Food is always on point. The outside smoking area is my favorite! I've spent many a night with a drink on that enclosed deck area, vaping and smoking. Love this bar!

This used to be a wonderful establishment. They do offer fantastic karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays. The guy that hosts karaoke is a genuine dude and knows how to have a good time. Unfortunately the bar has gone a bit downhill in recent years and in fact the last time I stopped in (which had been the first time in months) I got very sick very quickly. Two of my other friends had also become very sick later that night. We suspected it was probably food poisoning. To get a drink, it can be difficult. If you or your friends absolutely have to be there and it’s a weekend, go to the guy that bartends towards the pool/ dart board areas in the back. The woman in the front of the bar will eventually get you a drink but she’s always swamped with customers that love to go on about their boring lives and their stupid cats and whatever else. Definitely not ideal. She will also gossip as I have heard many times over the years. That aside, there’s a very young crowd in this establishment on weekends and I have no doubt some of them are using fake ID’s. It’s sad and unfortunate that this has all been allowed to go on for as long as it has. Not all bad things here but the negative really outweigh anything positive happening. Some real changes must be made in order for me to step foot in this place again. Until then I wish them nothing but the best.

Shorts isn't just a bar. It's an institution. Many area folks have ling memories of good times. It doesn't pretend to be anything it's not and there is something for everyone. It was my original hangout when I moved here in 2008. And while there have been changes, the atmosphere and fun vibe are always the same.

Bartender was outstanding! Unfortunately the only good experience I had there. Karaoke horrible! Terrible sound and system. Picks and chooses who he wants to sing. Visiting from out of town. Will NEVER go there again.

Cool place, bartender let me taste the sours variety before ordering one so i could make an educatedchoice. Let me charge phone behind bar, and used wifi to work on laptop. Ate FREE popcorn, had a shot of Tullamore Dew with some of the locals in honor of late St. Pats, played a song on jukebox that was my band and not with flow of background music, no one complained. Talked to some of the local crowd in there and all were friendly as well, especially to my rambling @**. Thanks for welcoming a vagabond needing face time, and to just get out for a night and see people, into your whimsically decorated, fun, watering hole.I bet this place bops for karaoke on weekends, little raised stage area and open floor plan with room for potential dancing.Bathrooms clean, extra credit.Designated smoking area attached so can bring drinks out. Not heated though.Tolerant staff and locals- especially to my off beat chatty personality and crazy life story. Watched out for my drink, safe place for women!Darts and pool. Jukebox if you wanna hear something. No deck of playing cards behind the bar though, bring your own if you will want or need one for any reason ;-P
Parking: Looked messy outside (beer bottles/broken glass) but was the day after St. Patty's, so still commendable in my eyes (having worked in the industry a number of years).
