Kid-friendliness: We came here for some quick lunch after playing at “ladybugs play” in the same plaza. It was my son’s 4th bday. They pushed their small tables together for our family, and put on a show of tossing the pizza dough when they noticed my son was watching. One gentleman offered my 2 kids free ice cream once they finished their lunch since it was Niko’s birthday. Not to mention how DELICIOUS the pizza was. I’ve never noticed the flavor of the sauce on my pizza before, but theirs was so good that it was noticeable to a casual pizza eater. We will certainly be back!

I read some of the negative reviews, and as they complain about the crust being thin - well duh, that’s NY-style pizza; then don’t order thin crust pizza. And yes, pizza is greasy - it should be. Someone said they are from Buffalo and know good pizza… riiiiight… well I lived in Paris, visited Italy, lived in NYC, northern NJ… I’ve had plenty of pizza. Most pizza around Rochester just plain sucks - I have no idea how people eat this stuff, and they actually seem to like it. Maybe they’ve never been to NYC. Pizza chef is the ONLY pizza so far that comes close to NYC/NJ pizza. (Italian and European pizza are completely different.) So if you like NYC-style pizza, Pizza Chef is your best bet. And let’s be clear, if you can eat any of the chain pizzas, you have no taste buds, period.

Had a bit of an impromptu birthday lunch for our son and some friends here. It could not have been more wonderful! They allowed us to move tables around and were very accommodating. We ordered a few sheets (which were delicious) and everyone enjoyed getting ice cream there! Our guests were impressed they served Hershey's ice cream. Thanks so much Pizza Chef! You will definitely be seeing us again!!

This place has the best slices around. And don't get me started with the cookies- BEST COOKIES EVER!! The staff is always friendly and accommodating, and my order is always ready fast!

Just grabbed three slices of pizza here today, and honestly I wasn’t very impressed. One of the three slices was very salty, and all of them were overly greasy.I love a good pizza that drips grease from the cheese, but this thing was just greasy at the crust which I found to be very unappealing. There wasn’t very much flavor to it either, just kinda salty.As someone who is from Buffalo and has had many good pizzas, this just wasn’t good. Pizza Stop is definitely better than this place. It was worth trying I guess, but I definitely won’t be back.
