It was great at first and then went down 😞 The food took forever to come out and when the main course came out, twin lobster tails and surf n turf,,, it was cold. After we complained our service was terrible. Waited for next round of drinks and they brought it out as we were almost done with our dinner. I never write reviews like this but for the $$$$ we paid it should have been right. Very disappointing.
Food was good. But waitress would not do separate checks for 6 people. Hard to believe as most places do for even more people.
The food was good but the dessert tasted funny like a freezer. The waitress did a good job.

What a hidden gem this is. I took our team out for our holiday appreciation dinner last week. The food, atmosphere, and the staff were incredible. Thank you Sara, Kim, Alicia, Noah, and the rest of the staff for making it a memorable evening! We will be back.
We were regulars There for about a year and a 1/2.I don't know what happened. They don't have good management and they cannot keep staff there due to the fact that they treat them so horribly. I would love to give them another try 1 day, but not until they turn the place around meaning new management.
This restaurant gets five stars across the board! We (a party of 5) showed up at 6 on a Saturday night without a reservation after having spent time on the Colonial Bell on the Erie Canal. They were very accommodating and managed to squeeze us in. But we did not feel squeezed in. Everyone was very pleasant and the food was out standing. Our entrees were Norwegian salmon, short ribs with garlic mashed potatoes, shrimp scampi huge shrimp by the way, chicken pomodoro, strip steak with lobster tail. The steak was a special that evening and I got to tell you for being a special that lobster tail was as big as the steak! Definitely will be back! Wish I could remember our servers name but she was outstanding!!

We came in and sat at the bar. The host was friendly and helpful! Jade was our bartender/ server and she was the best!! She was very clearly busy but made a point to check in often and do a great job. We will be back!

Ordered steaks medium rare. Both were Bleu. Sides were bland and incorrect. 160$ down the drain.

Wrong move deciding to try out Porterhouse as we thought it would be great as it is on the canal and was near Oktoberfest for this weekend. As a party of 8 we of course expect dinner may take a little longer- totally acceptable but after being seated around 5:30 and being told at 6:35 it may be another 30 minutes for short ribs and we expressed that timeframe was no problem, it had then turned into almost 1 hour and 45 minutes (since we had ordered) until we had received our entrees. The steaks that were ordered medium came out practically well done on very hot plates indicating they had been sitting under hot lamps for quite some time. "We are out of short ribs" had been heard from the kitchen as one of our guests went to the restroom about almost an hour into waiting for our meals. Meanwhile our server had ignored the table for close to 45 minutes with barely any updates. As a table with experience in the restaurant business from a serving perspective, managing expectations is crucial. If a mistake was made whether it be on their end or the kitchen you should be doing your utmost to tend to the table with at minimum an apology and perhaps ensuring drinks are filled instead of avoiding speaking or going near your table and then sending over another server - food was decent but it was an unfortunate unprofessional miss on service tonight that ultimately ruined the overall experience. To be fair for a Saturday night it did not seem busy enough for service to have been an issue, we ended up being there for over 3 hours.

After a long day on the Erie Canal piloting a Lockmaster Boat, I felt very relaxed with my Mom and her 3 friends at this restaurant. Sarah was amazing, she was personable, light-hearted and responsive to our needs even as the restaurant became busy. I had the seafood chowder as an appetizer, which had a light cream base and tasted excellent and as an entree I had the Salmon which was cooked to perfection. Sarah recommended a Pinot Noir which my Mom and I truly enjoyed on this cool evening. Evan did a great job of bussing and filling our water goblets. It was a perfect evening to a long day. Thanks!

We had dinner reservations for 7pm on 9/20/24. Arrived at 7pm and were told we had to wait 10 minutes while they got our table ready. No big deal, went to the bar and had a drink. At 7:20 we asked about our table and finally got seated a short time later. They poured water for us when we got seated and that is all we got. Literally. Not one server greeted us to see if we wanted an appetizer, or anything else for that matter so we left after roughly 20 - 25 minutes. If I could leave a zero star review I would.
I had reservations for a birthday party for 8 people. The experience was a total disaster. After being seated for 30 minutes, we gotten our drink order taken. Another 30 mins passed without receiving our drinks we went to bar to get our own. Management seemed uninterested in our concerns stating they were having a turnover meeting ( 630 on a Saturday seems like a horrible time to have a meeting) after waiting an hour and a half with no drinks or food we decided to move to a different restaurant. Based on prior reviews this is a common occurrence at this establishment. If you want to enjoy your birthday dinner do not visit this restaurant!

This establishment DENIED MY FATHER ENTRANCE BASED ON HIS DISABILITY. My father has a SERVICE DOG (NOT therapy dog) and they would not allow either of them to enter. DO NOT go to this restaurant. If I must clarify the rights of individuals with SERVICE ANIMALS, you are NOT legally allowed to deny service animals, and/ or their owners. They are protected by the American Disabilities Act (ADA). A SERVICE DOG IS NOT A PET.

We came here for our anniversary and had made a reservation. They were short staffed so we had to wait about 30 minutes for our table. That was understandable. Once we got served the food was delicious and came out pretty quickly. The manger or whom appeared to be the manager wasn’t very friendly or accommodating. The servers were all making their own drinks as was a young hostess. She was actually very nice but wasn’t a bartender. I felt bad for her as she was trying so hard. The manager, a woman, didn’t say much to us or seem to know what was going on. It seemed very unorganized and chaotic. The food was the highlight we had the seafood chowder and I had shrimp scampi. My husband had steak carbonara.
