Went there for dinner and we had the most amazing service from Claire F, She’s the reason I gave them a five star food was OK. It was good wasn’t special or great. Drinks were good, but the service was Stand above everything else. Claire deserves a raise, a promotion And if you lose her, you’ll lose everything. I mean it’s decent for dinner if you want to go there but nothing to recommend going for a second time unless you have Claire as your server!

Ok so our server was frigging amazing. There for a Bills game and the place was packed but you wouldn't know it based on the service. She was available and present the entire time. The wings were great. Sandwiches were great. Drink were steady. Place is huge inside. Great experience. 👍

Unfortunately, this place is a dismal disappointment. Don’t order the fish tacos or the quesadillas . How a “chef” or waitress could actually put that abomination in front of a paying customer, says it all. The wings came out with no sauce at all. People must go there for the drinks then just settle for mediocre food.
There is no oversight and it’s not worth your time.

Got the “Say Hello to My Little Friend” (Cuban Sandwich) as I’m a huge Scarface fan. Mediocre, skimpy, and not much flavor. My Tatar tots were crispy & plentiful. French Onion soup was decent with “Sherry” but not my favorite. Fries were flavored & crispy. The rest of my party seemed to like their food.
Fish Fry’s were huge & crispy and Hen, Hog, & Honey received high praise. Appetizers of fried pickles, fried cheese curds, and pretzels were very good. Place is spacious and clean. Lots of TV’s with various sports programming. Staff was super friendly.

Family went out here tonight for a fish fry overall I'm walking away not hating the place but also feeling like it wasn't worth $75 for a fish fry chicken salad and some fried cheese with some sodas.
Fried cheese curds were pretty good they came in a really nice sauce they came out super quick waitress was very friendly in the beginning so everything was going pretty well.
We got a wedge salad and added some grilled chicken to it which was $18 wasn't a huge fan It was kind of roughly made. Had some onion rings on it that were a bit too large and just didn't have a lot of great flavor. Grilled chicken was blackened not sure if that was on purpose or not as it wasn't in the menu but it was what it was.
Fish fry was burnt burnt like not edible burnt. They were pretty gracious about taking it back and getting us a new one in that one was pretty good but still a bit overcooked. All in all definitely not a bad meal and a pretty light and fun atmosphere just not worth $75.
But maybe that's just the new cost of going out to a restaurant?
Side note that the fries are battered If that's your thing great it's not mine so that also kind of took away from the review.

Maybe we visited on a off night. We went on a Friday for fish fries. We also ordered pub pretzels as an appetizer. Unfortunately, the speed of service was not there tonight even though the restaurant was not even half full. The pretzels were burnt and hard. Our waitress asked if we would like new ones, we said yes. We waited over 40 min to get our food and she came to our table to give us the wrong food. We reminded her of our order. We finally got our food and it was very good. We both finished our food and then they brought the new pretzels. The food was good but we'll probably pick a different place next time.

I had a horrible experience for my daughter's wedding reception there. The hostess so rude complaining about my family eating too much in which I paid for, I had my guest call up tables as well as the Father of the Bride had to cut and serve the wedding cake cuz she doesn't have her servers do that. Worst part was I specifically said NO open bar but wen I arrived my family said the bartender said there was open bar and at the end of the night the hostess slammed down the bill to pay. On there was a charge for open bar.in which I had to pay.. Unfortunately I had to come up with an extra expense that is putting me back in finances. The bartender said that that person was the Owner ...

They book awful bands, the food is gross and the waitresses don’t even realize they are on the clock. Got a trash plate and couldn’t even eat a couple bites. Waitress wasn’t even surprised neither one of us ate our food.

I had a fantastic experience at The Underpass thanks to Ava! She was so friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The burgers and the fish fry were impeccable, delicious and cooked perfectly. Ava gave great recommendations and made us feel right at home. I’ll definitely be back and hope Ava is my server again!

The food here was terrific. I got the Reuben sandwich with chips. The sandwich was delicious and packed with meat. The chips are homemade not the flimsy store bought. These chips were very flavorful. The menu was good, offering a good variety without overwhelming you. Service was very good despite only one waitress. She did very well and did not let the stress project onto the customers. Drinks were very good and they had Sam Adams beer (my favorite).

I love this place! The service was a little slow, but then our group realized that we had to order our food at the bar. And the bartender was doing everything with a smile. She was great!

The Underpass has never disappointed me. The food is tasty, the service is great and very friendly. The place is huge. Went in tonight and ordered a couple of fish fries to go and had a beer while I waited. Saw an old friend. Everything about the fish fry was delicious. You can tell everything is made from scratch. The tartar sauce is delicious, the Cole slaw is delicious, the French fries are delicious, the beer battered fish fry is delicious. No complaints. Whoever owns this place knows what they’re doing. They hire the right people. Well done!

Two of us ordered burgers one of the easiest things to cook you would think. They both came out over cooked and like hockey pucks. We sent the burgers back and came back just as bad didn’t even eat our dinners they offered to take only one off the tab, didn’t even finish the food. Would try again but very disappointed for an 18$ burger. The other food at the table was good and the waitress was scared of the kitchen staff being mad at her but honestly she should be furious with them messing up a burger.
