Update: Came back during what should be lunch rush on a Saturday and nobody was around. No customers, no staff. A lot of the meat on display looked very gray. Ended up walking out 5 minutes later since there was nobody to take my order.

It looks like they may be going through some minor remodeling. Food is decent albeit the subs are a smidge pricy for what you get. Two mediums was like $24 and they apparently have a history of over charging card fees. The sanitation leaves me a bit ick. The food that is left out premade is not temperature controlled and looked like it had been out for a while. Definitely outside DoH compliance. Fix up the place and it'd be great. I know Fairport people will fawn over anything "ethnic" but it was fair. Wegs is still our preference.

Vinny is awesome. What a true pleasure to speak to a man like him. I am SO glad that my wife, daughter and grandkids got to experience what was so much more available to guys like myself years ago. This place is a gem and the food was great. A true unexpected pleasure in this day. Check it out for yourself because good things like this don't last forever. Italian bread is fantastic btw.

Felt just like the little Italian bakery/delis we’d visit as kids. Fantastic bread, great sweets, and the subs were spot-on! Friendly Vinny too.

Stopped by on a whim while in Fairport today. Lots of options for pie in town, but we hadn't tried Vinny's, located right next to the new skate park. Feels just like an old school Italian market, with small aisles of groceries; domestic and imports, pastas, etc. At the counter we were greeted by a woman, clearly a relation to Vinny. Asked if she'd make us a pepperoni pie and she gladly obliged. While it was cooking, we plotted the container of Italian cookies we planned to take home. They have a nice selection of typical Italian cookies, super homemade looking in portable foil pans. We ended up with a container full of lemon cookies, cuccidati (think fig newton), cherry almond cookies, and a couple cream puffs. Cost for everything was a reasonable $35 and we left happy. Vinny’s hit a home run with the pizza; exactly how I like it with a crunchy undercarriage, but still soft, subtle sauce, yummy mozz, and pepperoni the size of small manhole covers. The cookies were also incredible! Soft, fresh, made with love…and probably won't last past midnight. Thanks, Vinny's! We'll be back!

Stopped in for Easter Bread. Had to sample all of the baked goods! Best Italian bakery goods in Rochester area and the owner, Vinny, treats you like family. All baked goods made fresh on site from scratch. Have not tasted Italian cookies this good since I was in NYC!

Great price for cold cuts, good subs, and pizza. Also a good place to pick up pastas and sauces among other Italian delicacies.
