Vinny's was like stopping in to a shop in Europe! Homemade pastry that are to die for! What made the experience was Vinny himself. Treating each customer (guest in his home) like they mattered and were welcomed! Will frequent Vinny and his great food and kindness!

I've had many of their offerings over the years. The Sicilian style pizza, the NY Pizza, Italian subs, calzones, cannolis, danishes and pastries, almond cookies, and today I got Easter bread. I've never been disappointed by anything I've gotten there. The couple that runs it are so nice and I don't know how they make it work but they do and I'm glad they're still there.

Come in, grab some food or order ahead, take it to the park next door and enjoy.

Place is old and so is Vinny, but the subs and cannolis were fantastic. Vinny also sang us a bit of opera. If I am ever back this way, I’m going to make it to Vinny’s.

Update: Came back during what should be lunch rush on a Saturday and nobody was around. No customers, no staff. A lot of the meat on display looked very gray. Ended up walking out 5 minutes later since there was nobody to take my order.

It looks like they may be going through some minor remodeling. Food is decent albeit the subs are a smidge pricy for what you get. Two mediums was like $24 and they apparently have a history of over charging card fees. The sanitation leaves me a bit ick. The food that is left out premade is not temperature controlled and looked like it had been out for a while. Definitely outside DoH compliance. Fix up the place and it'd be great. I know Fairport people will fawn over anything "ethnic" but it was fair. Wegs is still our preference.
