Currently (January 2024), the Woodlands’ atmosphere is a mess. Residents are extremely disappointed with the uncomfortable environment. The resident director shows signs and symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) which is a serious mental disorder. She displays extreme attention and affection to the residents but she is abusive and manipulate behind the scene. Recently, she falsely accused a health care provider of assault after she pushed the care provider and banded care provider to access the Woodlands building. A staff member who was loved by all residents is fed up with the resident director’s misconducts and quit. As he was in charge of multiple social activities, the facility lacks fun activities at the moment. This is serous. I have never seen this kind of fearful environment caused by staff leader before. As long as the resident director is there, I do not recommend this place to anyone who wants to have peaceful and pleasant senior life. Most of the residents are very nice. They deserve a better staff leader.
