Inside and outside dining. Water view. The food was good. Thai fried Rice is recommended. Celebrated a birthday here.

The owner of the restaurant was very unwelcoming and stand-offish when i entered. The place is large and a waterfront location on the bay.
The waitress and food runner were very helpful and friendly. My water was not refilled and I had to ask for more water. Nobody came to ask how the meal was, and the owner didnt ask either as she was passing by.

The food was tasty, but the whole menu was way overpriced for thai food, probably because it is a seasonal type restaurant.

They also add 'kitchen appreciation' charge to the bill (something like 3-5%), but that is what the menu prices should be covering.

Overall i was not happy about the owner's attitude which set off a bad beginning of my dinner. For this i will not be back and wouldn't recommend it.

My friends arrived a half our late to our resi, after calling stating we would be late. The Hostess was extremely rude not wanting to seat us when there were two open tables outside. They are severely under staffed. I was with three of my friends and never got our entrees that we ordered and waited over an hour and a half. We only ordered two entrees and a salad. Tables that were sat after us got their food and were picking up their checks. At this point we can tell the hostess was doing this on purpose. Had to leave starving, wanted to support a local business and was treated so poorly.

I made a reservation for myself and 3 of my friends for 6:30 pm. We got stuck in traffic so I called and changed it to 7:30 pm. We ended up getting to Thai Rock around 8( it was also an holiday). We arrive and are greeted by a line that reaches the bathroom. Someone behind me after 10 mins asks, “are we waiting on her?” And points to the host who is running around like a lost chicken answering phones, making coffee, and serving customers as well. I finally get her attention and let her know that we had a reservation. She angrily replies that “ first the reservation was for 6:30 pm and then we changed it for 7:30 and it’s now 8:00 pm.” She says that they are busy and will not be able to accommodate us for outside seating. I peek my head outside to see that there are a couple tables that are in fact empty. She walks away from the line that all of her awaiting customers are on, including myself to continue to serve th e customers already seated. After 10 more minutes, we ask if we can sit by the bar and then there was seating in the actual outdoor area in which included a table but not for eating. We ended up sitting there, with her consent while we wait to get seated. We are seated shortly after, outdoors but by the garbage can next to the bar. Okay fine, at least we are seated. After sitting and watching the waiter serve everyone else, after 15 mins I flag her down. She then proceeds to take our drink orders. 15 more minutes passes and she finally brings out water and the beverages that were ordered. She walks away again. Another 20 minutes, I flag her down because at this point we are very hungry and ready to order. She takes our order. While we are waiting for our food to come out, another table becomes available. We ask if we can sit there and we are told that this is fine. We switch tables, still awaiting our food. 10 mins pass, 15, 20 mins and then 25 mins. I flag down the waiter again and asks how much longer will the food be. As we are waiting, I’m witnessing people being seated immediately. People’s food who were seated after us, being served. People who were behind us on the line we actually finishing up their meals. She responds that she will check with the kitchen about the food. And other 10 mins go by, and then 20 mins. At this point, we are furious and very hungry. The waiter finally shows up to our table with the salad that had to have been prepared minutes ago, finally. None of the other food that was ordered was bought out. I must admit that the salad was great, it was fresh. Another 10 mins go by and then 20 mins. I flag down the waiter AGAIN. I ask if there’s an eta on the food and AGAIN she goes to check. 10 mins go by, and then 20 mins before I realize what is happening. We were purposely being ignored. We were treated rudely for things out of our control. The host was very rude. We ended up storming out of there. Walked right passed the waiter and she did not say a word. The service is horrible. They do not care. If you are hungry and thinking about eating at this place, you will show up and be served the following day. It’s sad when you try to support local businesses and especially on Juneteenth. If I could give this place zero stars, I would!! Do not dine here.

Waited over 20 minutes for someone to come to the table and they never arrived. I left without ever meeting a waiter or waitress. Will not be coming here again.

We had another great meal tonight and our drinks were delicious too. I’m addicted to their Ginger Mojito and Brian loves their Mai Tais. We shared the Fried Calamari, Pork Dumplings, and Shrimp appetizer. I had to have the Duck on Mom’s Menu and Brian had his favorite Pad Kaprouw with beef. And we never leave without their Sweet Roti for dessert.
I can’t say enough about Thai Rock; rent a Jet Ski next door for a Sunset Tour and make a dinner reservation here- you won’t regret it! The staff, especially Meta, the proprietess, are attentive and quick, and the food and cocktails are top notch but you don’t have to take my word for it. They are recognized by Michelin….hello!

Vegetarian options: There’s plenty: GO!

Parking: Drive around and you’ll find parking!

Wheelchair accessibility: They can easily accommodate a wheelchair, even a bariatric one.

This was my second visit to this restaurant and i felt so violated. They are racist and the food is not tasty and is overpriced. They were rude and made me and my friend feel very uncomfortable.

Food is tasty, but the portion sizes for delivery orders are consistently TEENY. Mind you, most of the entrees are at least $20. I got the Thai Iced Coffee and Thai Iced Tea as well (each for $5) and the cups were so small they looked like they were intended for children (probably 8-10oz) --- more importantly, they were filled 3/4 of the way. For FIVE DOLLARS EACH? When you rip off your customers, it doesn't go unnoticed!
