I love Mom and Pop shops, so this place is a real gem. It's about two blocks from Rockaway Beach, so it's a great stop to enjoy before and/or after a beach day... or any day, really. They have such great flavors; your usual flavors, and creative concoctions. I went prior to going to the beach and got a mango sorbet and came back afterward for their cheesecake ice cream. This hidden gem is one of the best ice cream parlors in New York. A scoop of campfire s'mores ice cream in a pretzel cone is heavenly! The girls serving the ice cream are so kind and friendly.The shop is wheelchair accessible and gets great cross ventilation between the open door and backyard. All seating is outside! There is one table on the sidewalk and a bunch in the backyard. A must while in the Rockaways !

Super friendly and patient staff! My kids were so indecisive but the staff offered a tasting to help my kids decide! We finally ended with rainbow ice, mango and coconut and vanilla flavors! There is a Sandy backyard and a lot of fun for kids!
