Amazing service, delicious pizza!!
We came to this place after a nice beach day, and made a special request for all the guys’s ladies, and to make the pizza heart shaped. Most amazing thing they have done.

Elegante Restaurant & Pizzeria is a wonderful place for lunch and dinner. The staff is very attentive and the atmosphere is great. It is a great pizza place in Rockaway, offering a classic New York pizza experience. The atmosphere is great and the workers seem to enjoy their job, being very friendly with extremely quick service. The Cheese and Pepperoni Pie is a perfect example of classic New York pizza, with a thin crust and crisp undercarriage. A new pizza on the menu is the MVP, a slice with marinara, vodka sauce and pesto, full of flavor in every bite. Other menu items include a plain slice, garlic knots, Penne a La Vodka, a sesame seed covered chicken roll, and a buffalo pinwheel. The pizza is great, though some find the price criminal, with $8+ for 2 plain slices. The restaurant is more Italian restaurant than pizzeria. Please note the hours: one reviewer found the restaurant closed at 9 PM on a Tuesday, despite Google Maps listing a 10 PM closing time.
