“Rippers is located in a concession area in rockaway beach so it is a fun, Open atmosphere consist of picnic tables outside under a covered area. I find that the food is very good. Burgers chicken fries. I can just have fries .. I think that they are excellent. They used to sale a whole fish that was divine. There are drinks , wine beer. They often play music and have live entertainment.. they typically close in late summer for winter.“

Great beverages as well such as the slightly sweetened Jasmine iced tea and Sanzo (lychee & calamansi) sparkling water products!“

“Holy cow! This is my first time at this place and the food is phenomenal. I just ordered some apps and everything is really really tasty. Also the portions are a lot bigger than I would have thought so I’m definitely gonna take leftovers home. But the purple yam thing is out of this world….red bean buns are delightful. Everything is just really really tasty. I will DEFINITELY come here again!“

When I finally try that food I just got in shock. Super tasty, delicious, the Trinidad and Dominican Republic flavors- was so down the earth. “My husband took me here for my birthday and he got ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ because My Moon was 12/10.

I said I wanted to be outside, have great food, and be in a place where we could have a conversation without having to shout across the table - and My Moon hit the ball out of the park.

I almost don't want to write this review because it is one of the few hidden gems left in Williamsburg, but I had such a wonderful experience I want to pay it forward. You step off of 10th into the most beautiful oasis garden patio (I'm sorry I didn't take any pictures of it!), we sat in the partially covered patio, which was great as the wind picked up. It literally felt like an oasis.

We opted for tapas (patatas bravas, octopus, croquettes de jamón, and a salad) and a bottle of wine to share. The food came out quickly, was delicious, and the service was great. The staff surprised us with the chocolate lava cake when we finished - I think a little bird told them it was my birthday 😂😂

Overall 12/10 will absolutely go again, it's already my list to take family when they come visit.“

“Uzuki never disappoints. As two people with gluten and wheat allergies, it’s such a treat to find truly exceptional gluten-free soba and udon.

The Duck Shio Soba is always a favorite. Comforting, flavorful, and good for the soul. The Black Truffle Curry Udon was rich and delicious, but the surprise star of the night was the Tempura Mochi Vegetable Udon. It was our first time trying it, and we’ll absolutely be ordering it again.

The Farmer’s Root Vegetables were also great. We wanted to put that sauce on everything!

My wife, our dog, and I came in for dinner and had an amazing experience from start to finish! The service was exceptional, and the owner was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind.

We ordered the chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, mango lassi, garlic & chili naan vegetable and chicken samosas, gulab jamun, and even received a delicious rice pudding on the house. Everything was absolutely phenomenal. Honestly, the food was so good that I forgot to take pictures before digging in!

The flavors were incredible, the portions were generous, and every dish was made with care. I walked out feeling like I had gained 10 pounds—but it was worth every bite!

“Traveled from out of town to see a friend but also maybe mostly to eat the spicy chicken katsu that I’ve dreamt of since Mini Mart/Mama Yoshi’s used to be a pop up at All Night Skate and we would go sit outside in the cold and enjoy the food and a cocktail. “Great food and good prices for lunch. Stopped here one day when I was nearby.

The sesame balls here are so good!!! For catering we got veggie low mein, braised pork, bunch of different potstickers, sesame balls, and everything comes with cutlery if needed. They clearly label everything and the packaging is great because they seal all the containers so they don’t spill and the food came warm to eat. 👏🫶🤤

FYI there’s great catering here too! They offer delivery and have a great setup for any event. Will post pics of the catering if I can find them.“

“This food was so good, I didn’t even pause to take a picture. At first I’m like I want more salt and pepper sauce, but the more I indulge, the more I appreciated the fullness of the flavor and didn’t need anything.

I had the black quinoa with okra and Chana and it was so good. I played myself trying to get a small plate to try but I look forward to coming back to visit for a larger plate.

They also have fresh fruits available such as coconut water, watermelon, and mix fruits.

“I have been going here since it opened. Friendly staff. Highly recommend the lunch special with generous portions. I recently learned that the small container of onion relish now costs $2–it used to be automatically added to the order. Also, the food in my usual order used to be pleasantly spicy but various items are extremely fiery (happens occasionally with the samosas and most recently with the aloo matar gobi). Took off a star for that but it’s still a solid option!“

We are so glad we went early; this place is a scene! When we left at 9, there was not an empty table or seat at the bar. They still have a cigarette machine at the bar + two phone booths.

After cocktails, we had eggplant rollatini, chicken parm and pork chops with vinegar peppers, finishing dinner with Amaro Averna. The food was good; the service, outstanding.
