Bamonte's Reviews
Consistently great since I started going there in the late 1980's. There's a reason they are here since 1900.
What's there not to love about a huge piece of the foundation that makes up Williamsburg Bklyn. A lot has changed in the area but this place is standing strong on its ground. The food, the atmosphere, the service, the familiar faces, family, and friends. It's never ending when you go there.
If i could give atmosphere a 30 star rating with all the history here.. amazing food.. had the veal parm.. awesome food and service

Bamonte's is a renowned Italian restaurant in NYC, renowned for its exceptional cuisine, atmosphere, and service. Despite potential delays in securing a reservation, the experience is well worth it. The wait staff may initially appear a bit rough around the edges, but the food, particularly the tomato sauce, is highly praised. The restaurant showcases old-school, time-tested red sauce recipes, with the Sunday sauce being a standout recommendation. Bamonte's exudes a classic, authentic vibe that transports diners to the old-world charm of Italy. It is considered one of the last great old Italian restaurants in the city, a cherished relic from a bygone era. The atmosphere is lively, with a mix of indoor and outdoor dining options, and even a nostalgic cigarette machine out front adds to its timeless appeal. While the food may not be mind-blowing, the Veal Parmesan, lasagna, and baked clams are all customer favorites. Bamonte's remains a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a genuine old-world Italian dining experience.
