I highly recommend trying the fagioli all’uccelletto, and don’t miss their pastas, we had a phenomenal cacio e pepe, and the cotoletta alla bolognese was truly amazing. Food is so authentic and spontaneous!!! We shared a bottle of their Poderi Melini Chianti Classico, which was perfect with our food and was recommended to us by Jacopo, in his typical Tuscanian accent. I’ll definitely be back! Ridgewood has a great Italian spot. What a discovery!“

Their bread was also very delicious and I dipped it in the sauce :). It's an expensive place but it was worth it. Definitely did not leave hungry. Very friendly staff.“

A couple we vacationed with has eaten dinner there 2 nights before and said how amazing the food was. One of the staff members even gave us a personal tour and history of the building. The food is truly sublime and without any pretentiousness - yet with creative attention to detail and the perfect sized portions - just truly delicious. I recommend grabbing a few dishes for the table and sharing to have the full experience of the menu, which also makes it even more familial feeling. I tend to try the specials and lean toward the seafood delicacies.

“Ordered for the first time last night, they were super accommodating since we called at 8:45 and they close at 9:00…. They made us 5 pies and I’m was so appreciative. They were so nice and even recommended one which I absolutely loved (with potatoes!) we can’t wait to go back but to eat there so we get the Pizza Hut out of the oven! Amazing owners and such a delight to have in valley steam!! The owner explained the ingredients and concept to my husband and his friend. They can’t back telling us so about it!“

The eggplant parm was okay and my friend said it may have been lacking something. I had the clam pizza and it was very good! I love clam pizza and this is up there on the list. My friend ordered the $50ish steak and while it was good, there was too much inedible fat on it (hence the 3 rating on food). The potatoes and onions that came with it were apparently delicious!“

“My son took me here for a birthday dinner after hanging at Rockaway Beach. This was one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. The pasta is homemade and delicious. I had a ravioli dish that was finished off with heating in their brick oven. I’d like to rate this restaurant 10 stars!!!!“
