My son took me here for a birthday dinner after hanging at Rockaway Beach. This was one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. The pasta is homemade and delicious. I had a ravioli dish that was finished off with heating in their brick oven. I’d like to rate this restaurant 10 stars!!!!
Whenever I'm at the Rockaways, a visit to Rocco's is a must. The rigatoni bolognese is absolutely incredible, and you can't miss out on their refreshing frozen limoncello drink.

Rocco’s of Roc Beach – Italian Fine Dining & Coal-Oven Cuisine is a charming neighborhood Italian restaurant run by a sweet young couple. The food is fantastic from start to finish. The fried calamari is perfectly tender with a delicious tomato sauce, and the baked clams are excellent in a buttery garlic olive oil. The thin-crust pizza has a lovely sweet tomato sauce and high-quality mozzarella. The lamb chops are so good, and the shrimp Parmesan shrimp pasta is a 10 out of 10. The Gnocchi with Chicken Cutlet and Spicy Vodka Sauce is totally amazing, and the Filet De Sole is very fresh and perfectly cooked. The colossal Veal Valdostano is one of the best, and the pistachio cannoli is unforgettable. All pastas are made fresh. The service is spectacular, with a waitress who is amazing, great personality, and very knowledgeable. The owners have assembled a high-quality staff, including a gracious Chef Bruno and master Pizzaiola Angelo. The wine list is reasonably priced, and the Lemonicello Spritz and Mojitos are very good. Rocco’s is a true neighborhood gem and one of the best kept secrets.
