Ate here with my family and everything was delicious. We did not have reservations, but the hostess Joann was very accommodating and found us a table. She was super kind and gave great recommendations. For apps we had calamari and meatballs. Both good, meatballs melts in your mouth with the perfect dab of fresh ricotta. It was pizza night for us, so we tried three: hot honey pepperoni, vodka sauce margarita, and spicy meatballs with peppers. I'm a pizza connoisseur and it hit all the right taste buds. We ate everything up, I almost forgot to take pics. Overall, I look forward to visiting again and trying other dishes.

Great food! You can tell they use fresh, good quality ingredients. Service is usually great. They have cute specialty martinis and sometimes frozens. Expensive but good!

Rocco’s has become a staple in our family for a nice early dinner. The food is spectacular and really as close as it gets to eating in Italy itself. All the ingredients are fresh and the dishes are prepared perfect. My favorite dish is their special which is a spicy vodka chicken parmigiana with spicy rigatoni — they add fresh pepperencino for a little extra kick (it’s better than carbone). The service is always top notch. Most recently we’ve had Lauren the past few times and she’s always on her A game (as is all the staff). Going out to eat with a 1 year old is tough sometimes, but Rocco and their staff are so accommodating and kid friendly it’s a no brainer when deciding where to go to eat.We will be back as soon as we can!Kid-friendliness: Highly recommend - always accommodates us and their entire staff makes dining out with a child so easy and enjoyable.

Skinny bitches, this is NOT the restaurant for you. Heavy on the homemade pasta (which was delish) but everything else was too heavily salted, yikes! Hypertension people, you may want to consider not dining here. We had a margarita pie, the crust was burnt, so 1 out of 5 (meh) and a white pie with prosciutto and arugula, 5/5 (yum). We also tried the risotto balls, 4/5. Market price for the veal, bone-in was $54. It was SO salty and the meat so dry that it was barely eatable. This was main reason we drove 1-1/2 to eat at this restaurant. We were so disappointed. This is why you CANNOT trust social media because people be hyping places up that don't deserve it. Case in point with the veal chop parmigiana (0/5). Filet of Sole was cooked nicely but again the dish was too salty, arghhhh! (1/5). We also tried a lobster pasta special. It was delicious but definitely did NOT warrant a $65 price tag. Gulp!!! So get ready to pull a second mortgage on your house to eat here. The matron pushed a tad too aggressively their drinks, and in general, the entire menu. There was a bar and dj and outdoor dining. All-in-all, mediocre food that was aggressively overpriced! I wouldn't return nor would I recommend. Sorry for harsh but candid review.

This is the spot if you want authentic Italian food in Queens, NY. Everything is made from scratch with love. The host Joanne is great. Vinny the chef is amazing, he really knows his craft. Its nice to see a chef walk to the tables and introduce himself and gets to know his costumers. Liz the waitress attends to all of your needs and makes you feel at home. The restaurant workers work like a team . I drive from CT to pick up family in Brooklyn to eat here. I am amazed every time I eat here. Try the specials on the menu you won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is always excellent. Best spot for Italian food in Queens, NYC.

A true local gem in Rockaway Beach that really impressed me! Vinny who is one of the owners actually served us for our meal! Everything we ordered was so delicious as all items are made to order! We will keep tis one on our radar whenever we visit our family in Brooklyn!!!The only thing you should know is on certain days they have a DJ playing old school dance music (Disco) which I love, but was quite loud. You might want to call and ask their schedule if you want to have a quiet meal that I promise will not disappoint!!!Parking: We used Valet as it was on the street parking which was scarce at the time we went!

This might be my favorite restaurant in all of the Rockaways. The food is fantastic. Like, if you're reading this from Manhattan, it's worth the train, ferry, or Uber ride to go out there and have a really nice meal. Don't even go to the beach, just go for Rocco's!A few things to know...the portions are HUGE. My husband and I usually spit a pasta and a salad, or a pasta and the eggplant rollatini appetizer - it's so friggin good. The eggplant isn't breaded and deep-fried, it's so fresh and flavourful. The kid's pasta is a huge potion too, usually feeds my son for dinner and lunch the next day.The gelato is fantastic. The strawberry was the freshest thing I've ever tasted.I've only had the pizza once, but it was really good and voted the best in Queens.MAKE A RESERVATION! Even in the winter. The space is small and a lot of people want in! They have a nice backyard, but it gets busy, especially around dinner time. You can't go wrong with the blue cheese dirty martini! All in all, it's amazing.

Dined with family on Good Friday which allowed for nice selection of non meat dishes to choose from. Fried calamari, beautiful salad and a white pizza with fresh mozzarella, burrata & imported truffle was our choice of appetizer brought to the table. Outstanding would be an understatement. Super fresh ingredients compose simple clean dishes that just make you realize old world recipes remain timeless for good reason. For my main course I chose the Pici Cacio Pepe which is a pasta consisting of smoked black peppers in a white cream sauce, among the most delicious pasta dish I have ever had. The bread basket served at each table dining complimented this dish perfectly. Deserts were delicious too, particularly the homemade Gelato which I'm not sure I will ever find any better, sincerely the deserts are absolutely bonkers, completely indescribably delicious. The Tiramisu WOW ; toasted almond cake Oh My Lord ! Perfect with the espresso I had which was as good as any I've had in Italy. The service is great with a staff that's super professional. Looking forward to trying much more of the menu.

I came here on account of an ad I saw for the lasagna here. Boy, do I tell you that that lasagna does not disappoint. Probably one of the best lasagna I have had in years. The drink and dessert menu paired with them made the overall eating experience a 10/10. Would come again.

I saw this restaurant on my instagram feed. I filed it away as something I would try if ever in New York. We made it last weekend and were not disappointed. Staff was a lot of fun. Food was fantastic. So many items on the menu that I want to come back and try some day.

As a Queens local, I think the thing that impressed me the most was the variety of fresh ingredients at a reasonable cost. Their cocktails are amazing. We ordered a tuna tartar special, salad, gorgonzola gnocchi, and their famous pressed veal parmagiana. 2 drinks for each of us and a slice of their pistachio tiramisu. We were so impressed by the staff, asking our names, our allergies, etc. Our waitress Isabella was so warm and helpful with any questions we had. We truly truly were so impressed. We can't wait to return. This place is a must try.Vegetarian options: They would be able to accommodateDietary restrictions: They asked ahead of time for any allergies.Parking: Compliment valet. Appears we showed up before the rush and parked on the street at the meter.Kid-friendliness: Children were dining at other tables. Staff brought over booster seats as necessary.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to enter. They would be happy to accommodate anyone I'm sure.
