“I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. This was our second time here and it has quickly become one of our goto places in Astoria. From the greeting at the door to the selection of great wine and cocktails- all unique because the are craft brews- to the staff answering our many questions about the very different and delicious menu to the quality of the food- an awesome experience. Last week we were there and enjoyed live jazz and the musicians mingled and talked with us. The decor is very comfortable. Looking forward to attending the special event nights, too. The appetizers were yummy but weren't a fan of the wedge salad because I don't like blue cheese, and they can't separate it from the dish, which was a bummer. The main course steak was delicious with a perfect medium rare ? for dessert it was apple pie and ice cream, which was a perfect match and great ending.The atmosphere was really nice and the staff were super attentive. The only thing was that we waited quite a while for each dish of food, which made us a little annoyed because we were hungry.“

Not only did she cook homemade Puerto Rican recipes, but she hires entertainment along with having a great selection of wine.I had the Carne Guisada (beef stew with white rice) and it felt like I was eating a mother’s cooking. Paired it with a couple glasses of Rosasera and a lovely Latin jazz band playing in the background and it was heaven. “I hosted some friends for my 30th birthday here and it was the perfect event, no small part because of this space. Everyone who came mentioned how much they loved the spot and the vibe. The drinks were great and I was able to bring in food (we ended up ordering some of the food they offer as well to snack on - delicious). What I will rave about most is the staff. Audrey took our orders all night and was the kindest, most helpful and attentive person. Also shout out to Amanda and JR for being so great as well in answering all my questions. “I decided to check this spot out on a whim around two years ago, and since then Bee has been my go-to spot to grab a coffee and to sit and get some work done. The staff here is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the ambience - from the decor to the lighting and the music - is incredibly warm and inviting. I love that customers have the option of selecting from various types of seating including swerving stools, booths, tables, couches in both indoor seating and outdoor seating. My personal favorite is the beautiful Bee garden in the back end of the cafe which offers "outdoor" seating which is closed off but still gives you the option of getting some sunlight. Off the menu, my favorite is the Kimchi fries. I have already introduced multiple of my friends and family to Bee, and would recommend anyone to check out this spot if they can.“
“One of my favorite dining experiences in a while. The prices were very reasonable, but the food and service were amazing. We went on a Saturday and our server (I believe Argentinian?) was incredible, not pushy at all, and timed out the meal beautifully. She didn't try to upsell, but was attentive and we had no problem being there for almost four hours while having different dishes. The food itself was fantastic - highly recommend the steak, empanadas (amazing sauce), and the croquettes. Also a very nice atmosphere and great drinks. Will go back for sure.“

The service was is why I couldn’t give it 5 stars we waited 2 hours for our pizza but luckily we had some apps to hold us over. The waiter never really checked on us or made eye contact. “Let me first say that I am very selective when it comes down to coffee and dagny has very pleasantly surprised me. The coffee is strong and flavorful and the bakery items are very fresh. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. No one bothers you so you can do your work without interruptions, if that’s what you are here for.Awesome music (Pink Floyd, Beach boys) that was not intrusive played in the background so I couldn’t ask for more. Will be back to try other items on their menu. As the need grows for this part of Astoria for more businesses, I am very happy to see places like Dagny opening up!“

“I have probably gone to Via Trenta for 8 Christmas Eve Dinners and it is always amazing. This is by far my favorite restaurant in Astoria. The service is superb and I always looking forward to going to dinner here. They have options for everyone, including vegetarians like me. The food is incredible. If you have not yet tried Via Trenta, you should go immediately! The Carciofini is the best appetizer I have ever had. : )“
“So, we were expecting a large crowd and the party room that they had, was not available for that day, so we decided to host the party in the community club room of our building and cater their food in.They did not disappoint! It was amazing! ? Sometimes when you had food catered, it loses its quality and taste in the quantity. In this case, that was not true at all. The sliders were amazing and very tasty. The Sangria was amazing and very delicious. We ordered the shrimp and veggie wraps and they were the best wraps I’ve had in a long time. The best time is that they have amazing relationship with other notable spots. So, the cake we needed for the event, they took care of it. Delivered, with the plates, the wethe flatware (and very nice flatware), the sternos, the containers, the servings trays, the everything!“
“Came here for the frose, so reviewing the frose. Without the rum float it has a bitterness to it - not unpleasant, but I'd describe it as very rhubarb-forward. Add the rum float and suddenly the rhubarb is gone and all you taste is juicy strawberry goodness. Both ways were great, but the rum float really was incredible. It sounded bizarre to me at first, but Vintage knows their frose: trust them.“

“We stopped by on a Friday night after making a last minute reservation for 8pm. We weren't hungry enough for dinner so we thought it was the perfect place for some small bites. The place was full and the ambiance was fun without being too loud. We got the smoked sausage as well as the soppressata sandwich. Both were big portions which I did not expect and was pleasantly surprised. The smoked sausage was very good, its basically cut up hot dog pieces served with crispy bread and a spicy mustard for dipping. The hot dog was juicy and if you love hot dogs you will like this for sure. The sandwich was also delicious. The sopressata was fresh and the side salad made for the perfect refreshing side. Overall we were really blown away by the quality of the ingredients. Next time we will definitely try cleaner items as we were definitely sodium overloaded, but nothing some drinks and water couldn't wash down! Our server was very friendly and attentive, we can't wait to go back!“

“Had brunch here today. I had the Hangover Pizza while my wife and daughter had the Eggs Ricotta. So my review is limited to those dishes. While I'm not a big fan of ricotta, it was plated beautifully and both said it was as good as it gets. They are very picky so that's a full fledged RAVE. My pizza was Freaking Magnificent ( I don't want to be redundant and say as good as it gets, but it was). I mean pizza is pizza? No! This was extraordinarily good, fresh hot and tasty ingredients including eggs bacon and potatoes on a thin crust. Delicious Plus! The place was rather empty being it was a Saturday at 2:00 so we did have to wait as they probably had to re fire up the pizza oven, but it was worth the wait.“

After seeing great reviews yesterday, and craving Chinese food, I decided to give them a try. Via takeout, I ordered the cold sesame noodles, fried calamari, and the BBQ rib combo with pork fried rice and egg roll. My absolute FAVORITES were the calamari, the cold sesame noodles, and the ribs. The fried rice and egg roll were okay, but nothing to rave about. But the others were ABSOLUTELY worth rating! Out of the last two mentioned, the rice topped the egg roll. All in all, the food is very tasty and I would like to eat in-house next time. ?“
