This was our first time at Nunzi‘s, and it won't be our last. From the time we sat down to the time we left the service was amazing. Joe went above and beyond to accommodate us. The food was great, and the portions were large. The zucchini chips were amazing!! Everyone loved the food they ordered. Definitely will be coming back.

The service we had tonight at Nunzi's Farmingdale was amazing (Dan K) very attentive to my Son in Laws allergies, very grateful for the service !! All the food was delicious.

Opentable Diner

Over priced for the quality. The butternut squash ravioli lacked in taste and seemed store bought. Better quality food made in house could justify the pricing.

Absolutely loved this place!! Went to celebrate a friends birthday and they see the table with a happy birthday sign. The food was outstanding not a single complaint. One of the best espresso martinis I've ever had and the cosmo was great too. The people and service were super attentive and nice! The music was such a vibe. We had a reservation at 8 so that was around when the dj started. If you don't like very loud house music i wouldn't say this place is for you at night lol.. but the music was awesome it was definitely loud but I wasn't screaming at my friends to have a conversation. Will be going back !!

Nunzis is our go-to spot in Farmingdale- the team here exceeds my expectations everytime I stop in without fail- Naz always makes sure our guests are taken care of and seating is always on point- & bravo to owners/managers vin and mike - you guys are running one of the best Italian restaurants on long island. Can't wait to be back!

I have been here before about two years ago when they first opened, it seems to be doing well which is a good thing honestly, it’s a restaurant on Long Island with Manhattan prices. Nice ambience for a date night. Food is mid. Dined with my family who came from out of town was extremely embarrassed that it took 25 minutes for a drinks I’m not even being overdramatic it literally did. When the food came out, pasta came up first nothing came out together. Finally, my chicken Parm came out. It was cold as hell. Said it was going to be rigatoni. Rigatoni Vodka came with linguine vodka sauce. Our server was Joe. He was very sweet really nice, but seemed very weeded. It wasn’t even that busy in there. My dad had to get up several times to ask the server what was going on just completely embarrassed with our experience probably will never go back again, but the vodka sauce is actually really good too bad experience was horrible and it’s really sad because we really took care of our server.

SCAM ALERT!!! I met a group of co-workers for appetizers and drinks and was completely ripped off. I was drinking wine ($12/glass). The wait staff kept coming to the table and offering to refill the glasses. I said “no thank you, I’m good”. They insisted, “don’t worry, we got you” and would proceed to fill the glasses on the table leading you to believe it was included. Turns out I was charged for every refill. To make matters worse, when they refilled partially full glasses, I was charged full price of $12 for every refill. Some of the refills were for half a glass because I didn’t finish my glass. They were partially filling the wine like they do your water glasses, but charged us $12 every time they filled a glass that was partially filled to begin with. I also ordered calamari appetizer for half price and the portion was minuscule. So it cost us each $100/person for partially refilled glasses of wine and 1 appetizer. We left hungry and felt taken advantage of. These types of tactics come from ownership. Will never go back and discourage everyone not to ever go there.

I just want to start off by saying, it’s always a blast here and a great time. With that being said. I was there about two weeks ago with some girl friends and there was an altercation at the bar between patrons and workers. It was beyond crazy. The bartender Vin should be fired for getting physical with customers. It’s a horrible look for such an establishment. Unfortunately we will not be back there due to the safety of ourselves and friends. Hope this gets corrected soon.

Love the vibe at Nunzis! This has really become my go to spot on Fridays after work. Always a great time with Vinnie and Frank behind the bar. Food is phenomenal and drinks are always on point.

Love going to this neighborhood establishment! Food and service are always on point, the vibe is immaculate so if you’re looking for a night on the town you’ve come to the right place! The staff go above and beyond constantly, a special shout out to Vinny who makes the best espresso martini I’ve ever had. Owners also are present and friendly, makes for a great experience. Come here any day of the week, you won’t be disappointed!!

Watched a server hit/slap a customer last night. Server claims the customer did not tip
him enough two months ago (!!). Absolutely horrid behavior. I hope this server was fired as this is a serious offense

I don’t recommend this place for private events. We had a party size of about 40. My guests were coming from NJ, Queens, Westchester and LI. We planned a surpise bday party for my mom (11/17). Slow waitstaff service. Food is really good (atleast) but the servings were REALLY INSUFFICIENT. My guests were hungry. My guests requested drinks and more food, but at times their requests were either turned down or forgotten. I had only known this after the event when I got feedback from them. There were a lot of things that were promised to us such as the availability & convenience of wine bottles, soda, and drinks but that was not the case. I had to enforce to the waitstaff to offer wines/drinks to every table. When I rounded on guests, they were surprised it was open bar. They promised the availability of ala carte for kids or for any instance that more food is needed. One of my guests requested tenders for a kid. We got pushback from one waiter saying they don’t refill. I had to step in and insist that I would cover the cost for every additional plate added to the table! The waiters were most of the time nowhere to be found. It was just upsetting. I still decided to pay the cost because I did not want to confront them and leave the place in bad spirit since it was still my mom’s birthday.

I sent a lengthy email the day after the event and I am still waiting for a response from them…

Not really sure how this place has 4 stars. Food is subpar, prices are steep and the location is pretty crappy. The food is nothing special, I’d rather go to Vincent’s clam bar in Carle place, spend half the money, eat better, have better service and the portions are better at Vincent’s. Nunzis is not the place for quality Italian food, it’s kind of stale
