We threw a party at the Tap Room In Farmingdale and we were really blown away with the care and service that they put into making this party amazing. Amberly, The catering manager, took care of us from start to end. We rented the upstairs and she made sure that everything went smoothly, she was extremely responsive to us, emailed us right away anytime we had any questions, was highly professional, and made us feel very confident about working with her. Steven and Peter, our bartenders, made our guests feel welcome and got right into the spirit of the party, pouring signature drinks (arranged ahead of time) and wearing masks for the masquerade. They went out of their way to help out in any other ways they could and were extremely attentive and friendly to our guests. The food was really good, the room was awesome, and we had a blast!!! The only suggestion I would have for the Tap Room is to adjust the speakers upstairs. The speakers are very loud near the bar and much softer in the back area where you would have a dance floor. In order to blast your dance music you have to have the whole bar set at a very high volume and it is much louder in the bar area. We did that and it worked out fine, but we had also rented the other half of the room, so our guests were able to walk out and sit at the tables. If you’re good with that, definitely have your party here, you will have a great time!!

I went to the Tap Room on Main Street in Farmingdale with my friend on Thursday May 28th around 8:45 at night excited to try some of the food and drinks on the menu. However that excitement quickly turned into disappointment when I discovered MOLD growing on the flower that was put on my drink for decoration and it was on multiple spots on the flower. I brought it to the waiter’s attention, he apologized and got me a new drink with the same kind of flower but just to be sure I removed it from the second drink. When the food came it was OK, I got the short rib sliders and had to put BBQ sauce on it to actually eat it and my friend got the American sliders and my friend’s burger was so pink inside she only ate around the edges. After we “ate” we sat there talking while waiting for the waiter to bring the bill, because I was so distracted by the conversation I just paid the bill and went home. It wasn’t until I got home and looked at the bill I saw that I was charged for the drink which I thought would’ve been removed simply because of the principle of the matter.
Overall I’d give this place a 2.5/5 and the 2.5 is MAINLY for the service because he was great. I believe his name was Eadum (sorry if I spelt it wrong or misheard it!)

Went on a Saturday during NBA playoffs. Waited @ 25 minutes for a table. Reasonable wait- and food was fantastic and beer selection was nice.
Kacie was absolutely amazing. She made me and my friends great drinks. They tasted so good and recommended drinks we would normally not get and loved it. Can’t wait to come back because of her
