“Yesterday, I had the pleasure of experiencing wonderful Greek food at King David's Restaurant in DeWitt, NY. The cashier at the time, Candace, who is also the manager was quite polite and friendly. As it was my first time there and I was unfamiliar with the menu, I placed an incorrect order. Candace however was able to help with the change and she did so with a smile. She also provided extra sauce for me. The falafel was quite large and very good. They also offer additional seating, indoors, where it was quiet and the sun shining through the glass roof made for a wonderful eating and social experience.“

“Syracuse Halal Gyro has the best Halal food in the whole city. It beats out other halal restaurants on taste, portion size, price, and friendliness. The owners are very kind and are good people. My only complaint a few months ago was that they would always close too early around 10/11PM before I could get to them, but recently I heard they are now open until midnight seven days a week. This place is awesome.Vegetarian options: There is really yummy falafel and hummus! There are other options too but I didn't try them yet.“

“Small family owned business you'd miss if you blink. Counter Girl and Owner were very friendly and went made all our food fresh. They even gave me a free water bottle. Food was flavorful, in huge portions, and left us contemplating our next visit. We did have a coupon which they happily took but the prices seemed reasonable either way. Definetly some of the best Mediterranean food in Syracuse.“

“Wonderful food and bread. Kabuli was fantastic despite the fact that it did not have cumin. Bread was great. Eggplant didn't have any seeds or skin and was cooked to perfection. We had a pickup, and it was ready to go as soon as we got there. Highly recommend.“
