The coffee was good, as expected but the bagel sandwich was especially delicious.

I came in on my day off with a great attitude and the customer service I received from ordering to pick up was not great. They were not enthusiastic, or slightly smiley at all. They seemed too cool for their britches. Not exactly a welcoming atmosphere.

I recently visited Salt City Coffee and had a fantastic experience. The two young ladies behind the counter provided amazing customer service. They were friendly, attentive, and made me feel welcome. The coffee muffin I ordered was incredible in both taste and texture. It was moist and flavorful, a perfect complement to my coffee. Speaking of which, the coffee they recommended turned out to be amazing. It was strong, just as I had requested, which was much needed after long hours of video editing on only four hours of sleep. I highly recommend Salt City Coffee for their excellent customer service and delicious offerings!! ?

Came here for a second cup. Started my day at Starbucks. Americano here was significantly better.

Absolutely excellent coffee shop. Love the barista specialty drinks, it really changes up what I expect from a coffee shop and so far I am yet to be disappointed in anything I have tried. Highly recommended if you love coffee and want to try something new and funky, or even if you just want a classic coffee or espresso drink.

The quality of service shines brighter than any star. Perfect drink recommendation from the Barista! The prompt, kind, and professional staff will make your morning/afternoon beverage a cup worth experiencing.

Awesome atmosphere to sit, visit with friends, enjoy a coffee. I had just a bagel and cream cheese (delicious) and will most definitely be back!

It is a shame how downhill this coffee shop went once it changed to salt city coffee. Soleil cafe was a staple of Fayetteville, NY and this place is mediocre at best. You can tell the staff doesn't want to be there, the atmosphere went from vibrant to dull, and the quality of the drinks evaporated along with its soul. I used to give salt city a try each time I was visiting home, but there is a not a glimmer of hope in there. The mom and pop aspect of "salt city coffee" went out the door - you might as well get a drink from a Starbucks. BRING BACK SOLEIL CAFE

I used to have a 5 star review for when this was Soleil. Since the change in ownership, the coffee is still good, although not as good as it used to be and the place is missing the heart and atmosphere that Taylor and her awesome Staff so expertly established.

Really good coffee and food. I wish they stayed open just an hour later. Majority of staff is friendly but there are a few who seem annoyed by customers often.

I want to give this place 5 stars, but it just isn’t what it used to be. When it was Soleil, the owners and staff were extremely friendly and personable, now I barely get a smile. I love Salt City coffee, so I will probably go to their location on Salina St next time for better service. The food is the same as when it was Soleil and still good, so that’s a plus I suppose!

I agree with some of the other posts about change in ownership. This location used to be Soleil and was taken over by Salt City and the atmosphere has really changed- not enough personality and lackluster service (Although there are other locations with really good service) Good coffee of course.

My favorite coffee shop has lost its personality. This was my home base before Salt City took over. The staff in previous ownership was top notch and the personal touch was always present. Now, I am greeted with a cold “hello”, slow service, and nothing on my way out. Coffee is good, food is great, but the best cafes are built in personality and community.

Best coffee around, by far! Try the maple vanilla latte. They use REAL NY State maple syrup and organic products when possible. They also have nice, fresh bagels.
