This has, over the last 2.5 years become THE SPOT that the boyfriend and I visit after any time spent in Fayetteville. It's always welcoming and no matter what you get a good conversation if you aren't shuttering yourself into a personal bubble. Katrina is by far the Absolute BEST bartender I've ever met.
Stop with all the disparaging stuff about a local Yokal Bar. The Hornets Nest is a Classic Fayettevillian bravado. 5 Stars All Day Long. I was born and raised in F'vill and loved my life here. The Hornets nest in the 70's was owned by the iconic Ed Fish. He once told me in a little league game to suck the blood off my thumb and "be a man" after I got hit by a pitch and I love him for that.
