We enjoyed dining at the Scenic Root for the delicious food and nice variety in their menu. But what keeps us coming back is the excellent servers and staff! We are always treated very well by friendly staff with the best service! They have plenty of rooms for lots of customers but it doesn't feel crowded. I like that it's close by in our neighborhood and we can support a local business.
We had a bottle of wine, baked fish, mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts. I also had apple crisp with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Everything was delicious. The staff was friendly and the service was quick.

Stumbled upon this gem by accident while passing through town. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the food was delicious. We ordered salad, salmon and a sandwich all were made with fresh ingredients that were paired by a skilled chef. Would definitely recommend to anyone.Dietary restrictions: Very aware of nut and dairy allergies.
