Yards Grille offers a delightful dining experience with excellent service and a breathtaking view of Green Lake. It's an ideal spot for enjoying both the scenery and the delicious food. The crab cakes, prosciutto and garlic flatbread, fried chicken sandwich, short rib tacos, and smash burger are among the popular menu items. The grilled chicken is cooked to perfection, and the salad is fresh. While the kettle chips are said to be homemade, some customers have noted they seem to be from a bag. For an additional charge, you can upgrade your side to fries, which are reportedly worth it. The outdoor seating area and lower sitting area with Adirondack chairs provide a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, enhanced by watching golfers tee off. The restaurant is located in a state park on a golf course, offering a beautiful view of the lake. The staff is friendly and kind, with excellent service. The food is good, not fancy, and the presentation is beautifully executed. The atmosphere is relaxing, though some guests noted the price point should be lowered and mentioned feeling out of place around golf club members.
