This place is a gem! Several of us alum from Houghton College stopped by last weekend and from the minute we walked in, we knew it was a special place. We ordered croissants, cinnamon rolls, scones and egg sandwiches and they were all very tasty. We talked to the owner for a few minutes and so appreciated all she is doing to serve the community.Dietary restrictions: gluten free items are available too

By mistake we found this gem when visiting my daughter at Houghton University. Such a comfy laid back place with great breakfast and lunch options and coffee. You walk in and you think your in your grandmothers porch or living room. It’s situated in one of the older historic buildings in Filmore and has a great feel. Their breakfast and lunch options are perfectly sized and taste great. Their coffee and tea options are great too. They even have a abundance of scone, muffins and bread choices. A little shop is within too if you want to by something with a local feel. A real gem, for an area needing local business support. Stop by you’ll love it!!

My one suggestion to anyone going here on a Saturday is GET THERE EARLY! The food is so delicious and the lines to wait for it reflect its demand. It is worth the wait!The cinnamon roll ( for breakfast) and pretzel (saved for lunch time) exceeded my expectations. I am looking forward to my next visit to try the croissant with a soup maybe? I certainly expected a limited menu but I was completely surprised by the variety of options.DEFINITELY GOING BACK AGAIN!

Great prices. Their buffalo sandwich (photo) was awesome. They charge 50 cents to add flavor to your coffee, but they dont tell you unless you ask. Place looks awesome, i love the old fashion feeling. They also have a little shop with small businesses, love that they support their local crafters. Definitely have to stop by here if you are in the area. One coffee flavor shot wasnt enough, you cant really taste the flavor, so you might want to do two shots. Overall, i really love the place and their prices. Their chips are also really good, they are nice and thick and crispy.
The place was packed on a Friday afternoon, but also well-supplied with both baked goods and artworks for sale. Loved their everything bagel with lox and capers.
