By mistake we found this gem when visiting my daughter at Houghton University. Such a comfy laid back place with great breakfast and lunch options and coffee. You walk in and you think your in your grandmothers porch or living room. It’s situated in one of the older historic buildings in Filmore and has a great feel. My one suggestion to anyone going here on a Saturday is GET THERE EARLY! The food is so delicious and the lines to wait for it reflect its demand. It is worth the wait!The cinnamon roll ( for breakfast) and pretzel (saved for lunch time) exceeded my expectations. I am looking forward to my next visit to try the croissant with a soup maybe? I certainly expected a limited menu but I was completely surprised by the variety of options.DEFINITELY GOING BACK AGAIN!

This place is a gem! Several of us alum from Houghton College stopped by last weekend and from the minute we walked in, we knew it was a special place. We ordered croissants, cinnamon rolls, scones and egg sandwiches and they were all very tasty. We talked to the owner for a few minutes and so appreciated all she is doing to serve the community.Dietary restrictions: gluten free items are available too
