Good food and service. Good view of river. Only down is dining room and bar are very sound lively rooms. Could stand some better sound absorbing ceilings and walls.

Honestly, it is the one of the most hidden gems of the 1000 Islands because if its spectacular on the River view, and locals know it so it can get busy! Food is good, service helpful, a casual environment you can get to off your boat or by road. Not fancy but it doesn’t matter - the view wins!

We went to Foxy's last evening . We aren't from the area ,but I found them online and made a reservation for 5 at 6:30 pm. We arrived early for Happy Hour and luckily found spots to sit in the lounge which was very busy. Two ladies behind the bar rocked the place and didn't miss a beat. We were seated for dinner at a table by a window overlooking the River . From the Service to the food everything was fantastic. Service was prompt and we all loved our meals . We highly recommend this restaurant . 10 stars plus

This place is way too loud and overpriced for the quality of the food. I got a chicken parm plate and it was unseasoned, alongside the plain pasta with what tasted like no name brand tomato sauce from a grocery store. The presentation was just horrendous. The salad was brought before everything on a tiny plate, and was clearly just a bagged mix topped with three slices of red onion and two cherry tomatoes. We had to ask if the lasagna dishes were made in house and received two different answers. The host reported “this is going to sound funny but a bunch of old Italian women come in the morning and prepare it all.” Just a strange place overall and we definitely won’t be back. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Excellent food and service every time we've visited. A bit on the pricey side but quality is spot on. I've been a loyal customer for 30+ years and I will continue to visit every time I'm in the area!
Parking: Parking can be a nightmare...be prepared.

I have been going to Foxy’s for 20 years and have a tradition of celebrating the end of a river vacation with a special meal there with my daughter. We were there last night and I am so sad to share that it was awful service and a terrible experience. At the outset, our server said they were out of water glasses so we were given small sized drink glasses. This was totally no big deal at all to us and I told our server, “no worries . . . all good . . . not a big deal.” We then ordered our dinner at 6:25 pm. It was me, my 15 year old daughter, and my daughter’s 15 year old friend. We ordered one appetizer (calamari) and two shirley temples, and three entrees. My daughter just wanted water. The server brought over two bottles of Saranac shirley temples and just plopped them on the table and walked away. No glasses for them, no straws for those or the waters. I politely asked a runner for the server to come over and asked if we could have glasses and ice for the shirley temples. She came back 10 minutes later with ice in a child’s sippy cup and flatly said, “we are out of glasses.” Our server never refilled the water, never got us glasses for the drinks, never got us straws, and never asked if we wanted more drinks. We put the ice from the sippy cup into the bottles because they were not cold. After waiting 45 minutes, our server stopped and said, “your dinner will be out in a few minutes.” After 50 (yes, fifty) more minutes passed and we never saw the server, I approached the hostess and said, “we have been waiting for our meal for over 1 1/2 hours and our server has never come back to us. We last saw her 50 minutes ago.” The hostess said, “yeah well your food should come out soon.” That was it. When our meal finally came out after 1 hour and 50 minutes had elapsed since ordering, I told the server I was disappointed with our experience because we were not checked on, not offered refills, nothing. We were totally ignored and this was a special tradition for me and my daughter (Foxy’s was my husband’s favorite river restaurant and he died 4 years ago so it is hard for me and my daughter to go there every year but we still do). The server then ROLLED her eyes at me and said, “well, I got in trouble because I put your order in before another table.” I have no clue what she was referring to but she legit rolled her eyes at me. Unacceptable. I then said I wanted the check and she “yep” and plopped that on the table. I have spent thousands of dollars at Foxy’s over all the years. Not anymore . . . We were treated like sh** and it dampened the end of a much-needed vacation for me and my daughter who miss my husband/her dad every single day.

The portion sizes are getting smaller and the prices bigger. Look at this side of mashed potatoes I got…. 3 bites and it was gone. Crazy. Steak was cooked perfectly tho. Good waitress as well.
Our drinks showed up around the same time as the apps. I think we waited around 20 minutes. BUT we got speciality drinks so I understand but still it was a really long time…. Also my drink (river colada) wasn’t blended all the way it had big chunks of ice in it and I had to add a bunch of water to make it thin enough to drink.
Overall, I would come again but it’s just disappointing to see the portion sizes change so drastically. Everyone else at the table had a great meal. I felt conflicted to write a review but it was the mashed potato’s that really made me want to say something ?

My wife and I had dinner and loved it. I got the haddock fish fry and my wife got the seafood alfredo. The seafood alfredo was significantly better tasting than the fish fry, but that should be the case with it being much more expensive. The fish fry was still amazing. The bread you get with your meal was some of the best Italian bread we have ever had at a restaurant. The view was very nice, even though we didn't get an outdoor seat or a window seat. It should be noted that it was very noisy in the restaurant due to the acoustics, so if you struggle with hearing in that type of atmosphere, you may want to go somewhere else.

What a gem this place is, it's right on the water, it's beautifully done inside and the food was great. I had the chicken cordon Bleu and it was so good, the chicken was cooked perfectly. We got some Sausage dip and bruschetta as appetizers and they were so tasty. I will definitely be going back again this summer.
