Went back again got another birthday and it was made the way carvel used to make them but no longer does. I will get all my ice cream cakes here from now on.

I was searching for Carvel and somehow this came up and I didn't realize it wasn't Carvel until after I purchased a icecream cake. I had called to order it and said I needed an icecream cake with NO Chocolate and asked if they could put vanilla crunchies in it and they said no problem. I also repeated myself saying it was important that it had no chocolate. When we went to pick it up I asked again and was told there was no chocolate but they put chocolate crunchies in the cake and I asked why and he said it was vanilla icecream only and they didn't put chocolate. But the crunchies were chocolate?? They said I had to buy it because it was custom made with greeting on it. So I just bought it and used it for something else. I couldn't use it for the party I was going to because I was told some couldn't eat chocolate.This place looks just like a carvel but it's not and i didn't realize it. Very weird they look like carvel and the name is carnival ? I don't think I will be going back , the icecream cake tasted fine still but I wound up tossing it because it was too big for 1 person to eat.

I was in Fishkill for a doctor's appointment and it was a hot day so I was looking for a small ice cream place. I was sitting in the CVS parking lot and trying to look on my phone and it kept telling me I was already there. Which I thought was very funny. So I drove around to the back of the plaza to see what stores were open and all the way in the back was this Carnival ice cream shop. The owner was there. He was a very personable older gentleman .He said he makes 3/4 of the ice cream himself. The other ice cream comes from Perry's which is also a good brand. His prices are reasonable maybe even slightly lower than other places locally. He told me his mint chip was the best in the area so I took his word for it. I got a kiddie size mint chip with rainbow sprinkles. It was really tasty! He also does ice cream cakes and has plenty made to go that he can just initialize it for you with whatever you want to say and out you go. He also has individualize little ice creams. You can buy a 12 pack of mini ice creams or mini desserts for very reasonable price. Check out his store and see all the ice cream options that he has. It's a local place he's been there for years so give him some business. But you have to go all the way to the back of the plaza where the Gold's Gym is. So go have a workout and then go get ice cream! LOL. I will be back there in two weeks for my next doctor's appointment who is right across the street so I will make another visit.
