Terrible customer service!!! 9 people behind the counter waited 8 minutes before they went to service someone who came in behind me then they didn’t start my order for another 5 minutes. Will not go back. To top it off they got my order wrong and put ketchup on my sandwich when I did not ask for which made the sandwich inedible. wasted time and money and now I have to go somewhere else to get food.

Rock hard bagels. Odd but true. Like hockey puck hard. Burnt to a crisp.
Someone could break a tooth. Why would you serve ROCK hard bagels ? Just doesn't make sense.
They serve smaller size bagels compared to most bagel shops imo. Epic fail for Empire Bagels.

As for cleanliness reviews that say they are bad: definitely sticky floor and sticky tables. Meh, clean the place up and run the operation properly, more efficiently. Friendly staff though, I guess.
I did tell the woman we were served Rock hard bagels and the wrong lox shmear instead of nova lox. She clearly understood and acknowledged. We got a nod and I'm sorry...

I had placed a large bagel order over the phone to be picked up the day before Thanksgiving this year. When I got home, I went through to make sure my order was correct. It was far from it! Included in my order, I had asked for a couple of asiago cheese bagels, French toast bagels, and one rainbow bagel. Asiago and French toast were not included at all, and I got three rainbow bagels. They also gave me more bagels in my order than what I had asked for when calling. Is it too much to ask to take the order down correctly? I paid a lot of money for this, and I am very unhappy to know that I did not get what I ordered. I order bagels for every Thanksgiving morning, and I will have to really think about getting them at Empire Bagels next year. Ridiculous!

It's really sad how bad this location has become, because the bagels and sandwiches are actually pretty good. Unfortunately, the customer service is terrible. They are always pretty slow when busy, which I guess can be expected. Today, I walked into the store with no other customers and waited about 5 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me. All 4 employees who were behind the counter and doing various prep or cleanup tasks completely ignored me, seemingly expecting somebody else to take my order. I finally walked out and headed down Main St. to The Bagel Shop and had no issues. Get your act together, Empire Bagels! There are too many other options in the area to offer this type of service.

A very unique breakfast menu and the interesting items are actually delicious! Sandwiches and drinks are fantastic!
I asked for an egg bagel not an egg bagel. Most people who work in a NY bagel shop know what an egg bagel is. The bagels are usually labeled.

I’ve been a regular customer for several years ,but I’m leaving now. Several orders in a row have been incorrect. Sugar in my coffee, egg bagel rather than the salt I ordered. Today I specifically asked for a cinnamon and salt bagel and got two plain. I called and the young woman sounded so surprised. I can’t afford their mistakes.
I’ve gone to multiple locations and have always had a good experience — the food is fresh and delicious! Today I tried to order lunch from Fishkill via uber eats, but the driver informed me that the restaurant said they “didn’t have any vegan food” so I had to cancel my order :( is this accurate?

Was told it was a 20 min wait to make 2 bagels with no customers inside of the store. And then I was ignored because I asked them why was it going to take 20 minutes for just cream cheese on a bagel.
