Bread is subpar, consistently incorrect orders, price changes depending on who does your order, heroes get prepared differently every damn time. Good only when every other deli is closed earlier. If you see the older Hispanic woman behind the counter, turn around - you're absolutely going to get a wrong order/different prices. From now on, I'll be going to the one around the corner in Glenham, where none of this nonsense happens.

The deli did not put cheese on the SEC sandwich I ordered online. Staff was not friendly either This place has gone down considerably under new ownership.

The ownership had changed quite a while back and along with it, the quality of the product. I started going there perhaps 20 years ago, always busy, always a high turn over off the tray items. I stopped going in as much perhaps 2 years ago because of this. I decided to give the place another try, it was like a ghost town during what should have been a busy lunch time. Chicken is not suppose to be chewy. With all the eateries around, this deli should not be anywhere near your first choice to eat. Seems there is no more liquor or cigarette sales either.

I usually stop in Hometown Deli for fresh subs or grinders, rolls whenever I travel from CT to PA for my annual fishing or hunting trips. They never disappoint with their fresh made sandwiches. So if you happen to see a black 4Runner weaving in traffic, it's probably me trying to eat a massive Turkey Sub sandwich! You've been warned. No photos as I was too busy trying not to get lettuce all over me while driving.
