What a spot! My go to when looking to treat my family. Remember when pizza was affordable....? Them days are over but I can't fault Sal's for the prices - they are on par for the area. What's important is the food is top notch. Whether sitting in the dining area, hanging at the bar, or just grabbing to go, you'll not be disappointed. The ambiance is super chill and the staff is over the top friendly. I've never seen a grumpy face in there which is really refreshing. And guess what!?! They deliver on time every time. Gotta give credit where credit is due - I've been frequenting this place for years and there is a reason why! But OH, I miss the day of a dollar slice.... Lost a star due to my general disdain of pizza price inflation. Sorry Sal's! It ain't your fault! FJB

In town from Alabama, so it’s always a gamble trying random restaurants, but we hit the bulls eye with our choice here. Susie was a pro on the phone. Helping us on the phone and assisting customers at counter. That’s a rarely taught talent. Hat tip.Food was absolutely fantastic. Im not a crust guy often, but this crust was authentic and JUST how it should taste. Well done! Delivery guy was great. Great experience all the way around. Thanks for the great pie!

The food is amazing! I got the rigatoni a la vodka and the garlic knots! The pizza and bread is also great. The service was nice too.

Ordered a regular pizza, half pepperoni. For some reason they're the only pizzeria that puts pepperoni under the cheese... no big deal but it's hard to see which slices have it on it when it's on half. I haven't ordered from sal's in years and decided to try them again. It was the worst pizza I've had from a pizzeria. We were jokingly saying it tastes like they bought frozen pizzas and are reheating them and passing them off as their own. The crust is like cardboard, the cheese is like plastic where it is solid and not ooey-gooey when you bite into it. I think using cheap ingredients to cut corners is the only reason it tastes this bad. Cutting corners loses customers. Really bad pizza and this is the last time for sure.

The owner and staff are very friendly. Servers are really attentive and pleasant. I like the chicken parm wedge with vodka sauce instead of the regular sauce and they always accommodate my request. The extra large pizza is a great value and feeds a lot of people. They also have a really good Italian combo and the specialty slices are really really awesome. I enjoy every single visit to Sal's and I will continue to support this local business at both Fishkill and the beacon location. Daughter picked up pizza last night (small with chicken) and when she brought it in and I opened the box, I was appalled! There was sauce all over the top of the pizza - ON TOP of the cheese and chicken. That might not have been so disgusting IF they'd put it back in the oven to warm and thicken the sauce, but they didn't. It's like they forgot to put the sauce on before the cheese and topping and added it later thinking nobody would notice. It was Ragu right out of the jar! On top of that, crust was consistency of frozen pizza!! More like eating the box than a good piece of pizza! We each managed to eat 1 piece before throwing the rest in the trash - $20 from this month's social security check wasted! I used to work in a pizzeria - a 5 star pizzeria in Albany and that would have become food for the staff there! That plus the shitty attitude from the kid I spoke to makes this our 1st and last pizza from Sal's!

It's quiet. They have sitting inside as well as tables outside. We were around the area and came in just got a slice. Not bad. The sauce tasted like marinara sauce. Plenty of cheese. It is good.

UPDATE: Tables were not wiped down, chairs not pushed in. Very haphazard looking. Waitress asked if I wanted my table wiped down. I said I already did it myself. Not impressed as I was 4 years ago.Nicely decorated. Food is good. Calamari was cooked to perfection. Chicken parmigiana and eggplant dinners were oversized and so delicious. We had a birthday celebration for 9 on the patio. Ordered a 1/2 tray of salad and 3 different topping pizzas. Staff are friendly and welcoming. They do serve fountain soda, bottled soda, ice teas, beer and wine. Patrick and Sal are true gentlemen. Enjoy

We wanted some pizza while coming across I-84. Found this online and we were very happy. The pizza had a good amount of cheese and chef salad had alot of meat. Good crust that was crisp. Sauce had good flavor. I noticed lots of locals coming on for slices that were huge.

When I moved back to Fishkill after 6 years, I figured it would be the same… same good food and good service… NOT A CHANCE! This place is filled with horrible people who don’t care wether they lose customers or not. Food has gone way downhill. My stepdaughter went in tonight to buy some pizza dough, and whoever was at the counter gave her a NASTY attitude and told her ‘not to make a habit’ of buying dough there. Smh. I support local, but I will NEVER give them my business ever again. And I am absolutely NOT the only one. Rude people and mediocre food, you should be ashamed to treat the customers you have left like that.
