We visited Beacon town for the weekend and decided to try the lunch buffet at Tanjore Cuisine of India — and it did not disappoint! The entire experience was amazing, with a wide variety of appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
Among the appetizers, the Chicken 65, Gobi Chilli, and Chicken Hariyali were standout favorites — packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The biryani in the main course was incredibly aromatic and delicious, and the Chicken Tikka was tender, juicy, and full of spices.
For dessert, the Gajar ka Halwa was absolutely delightful — warm, rich, and just the right amount of sweet.
The ambiance was comfortable, and the owner was extremely kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving some authentic Indian flavors!

The food is consistently delicious. My personal favorite is going for the lunch buffet. The menu is random but always offers a good assortment of gluten free, vegetarian, lamb or fish options. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

It is always a pleasure to dine at Tanjore in Fishkill, NY. The food is excellent and so is the service. The menu is large and varied. I have never been disappointed in anything i have ordered. The staff is very attentive and accommodate any request we make. Their Dosas are nice and crispy and the Goat curries are the best we have had.
Our first time here. Did not dine in , ordered food to go. Owner was very hospitable towards us. Had an ice cold Taj Mahal while I was waiting for my order enjoy chatting with the manager noticed they had a full buffet available. Will have to come back and try that for sure. A pleasant environment, with soft Indian music playing in the background. Select a few more choices must say it was some of the best Indian food I’ve had in some time. Ordered the chicken tiki masala, alo gobi, sag pannier, lemon rice. Chili garlic naan. Spice level and flavors were spot on! Definitely recommend this place, We will be back!!

I usually enjoy this restaurant but was extremely disappointed in the quality of taste. I ordered 2 lamb vindaloos and asked for extra spice in both. My request was disregarded in the lack of flavor and spice. I had more potatoes than lamb. The sauce was under seasoned and tasted like bland tomato sauce. I called to let them know the flavor wasn’t up to part and even though they offered to remake it. I got a call back stating “the chef said he made it spicy already”…..food was not worth what I payed. I will not be ordering or going back. I encourage and recommend Gymkhana cuisine of India!!!!!!!!!!
