Food was OK. Nothing special, Cesar Salad tasted and was coated with Anchovies. They didn’t have the Steak that we originally wanted (Black Angus) and had to settled with Filet Mignon. The Filet was OKAY. Nothing special, the steak had too much parsley coated on it for my liking. Bread was delicious. Dessert was also good. Service was bad. Our waiter seemed to disappear for the majority of our dinner. We only saw him three times! The waiters should be more attentive. Maybe there is not enough waiters? Not sure. Atmosphere was fine. A lot of old time regulars who dine at this restaurant. Everyone knows each other and if you’re a first timer here, you definitely feel awkward since all the guests know each other, as well as the staff. Overall: Would not come back. Food was fine, but if we had another choice we’d pick it first before this place.

Just found Villa de Este. We love it can’t say one bad thing. great food / atmosphere great / clean/ service great / sorry we didn’t find it sooner.We have reservations coming up again. Can’t wait. /. A bit pricey…. But really good. ?

We are regular clients of this fabulous restaurant and so I decided to have a surprise party there for my husband's birthday. The staff was so accommodating, the service was impeccable, and the food was just amazing. It can be challenging to serve a large party when the full menu is offered and entrees are served at the same time and at the correct serving temperature. They're masters. Last night we decided to try this place. Upon walking in ambiance was sparse. Walls bare. Not cozy at all.Waiter drops menus tells us about specials and walks away. He preceded to chat with staff for the next twenty minutes even after we placed menus down and sat waiting as he looked at us several times but didn’t come over.It certainly is apparent that if you are a regular you get catered to and good service. If you are new good luck trying to get served.Finally after ordering appetizers and food we were served by food runners and waiter never came over to check on us. The water boy and food runners did a better job. We felt uncomfortable as we were neglected and our waiter waited on the regulars and spent time at their tables often. We couldn’t even get a check to end the misery. When he finally came over he put sugar bowl on table n walked way to come back some time later to ask if we wanted dessert or coffee. When we said no he snatched the sugar up angrily and walked away in a huff.On the way out we spoke to the owners son who was the manager that night and he said sorry. That was it. Waste of 85 dollars and a night out. I would not recommend or return. If you’re not a regular don’t waste your night out or money.

Did not enjoy one bit. Food is average. Service is horrible. If you are not a regular is it obvious you will be treated differently. Felt uncomfortable during the whole dinner

Fabulous restaurant - old school Italian with impeccable, attentive service. This is the second year in a row that we celebrate my father-in-law's birthday here and the food and service keep us coming back. Affordable wine list, extensive menu and attention to service make for a memorable night out.

This restaurant is a few towns over from me and definitely worth the 15 minute drive. There is plenty of street parking here and I found a spot in the back lot. Made it easy even if there was a two dollar fee. It is a large restaurant with the look and feel of a cozy little shop. It is a very comfortable environment to be in. There is no rushing here. Just sit back and enjoy all the delicious food. The server came right over to us to bring menus and take a drink order. The whole staff here is friendly warm and extremely efficient. After a few minutes of deciding I went with the Muscles, my wife did the Caprese and Stuffed mushrooms. Great cool-crisp Caesar salad. What I really liked id that they let me finish before they brought out my muscles (and the rest of the main dishes.) Nice large muscles in a tasty garlic-wine sauce over pasta. I good size portion perfect for dinner. My wife loved the Caprese salad of fresh Mozzarella then enjoyed her tasty Stuffed mushrooms as her main dish. I enjoyed the laid back atmosphere here and the ability to sit for a little while and chat with our friends prior to asking for the check. Villa d'Este is a charming-efficient restaurant with great food and service. KUDOs to the team at Villa d'Este

This is our favorite spot these days as food is consistently very good. Last night onion soup was a special app ---- the four of us ordered it and really loved it! Veal was very tender as it always is...both veal frances and veal with chestnuts were so so delish. Broccoli and potato croquotte cooked to perfection and just wonderful.. Lovely fresh crisp linens, terrific neat and pleasant waiter, soft background music ---ALL makes for a lovely evening!
