not allergy friendly. i told the server i had seafood and nut allergies, but he brushed it off and laughed awkwardly. no ingredients listed on menu and no indication of nuts being in stuff. we ordered kung pao chicken and it came with peanuts, because the server did not inform us it had peanuts and the server did not inform the kitchen i had a nut allergy. disappointed. not coming back. would rate 2 stars, but bumping up a star for the second server that allowed a remake of kung pao chicken without nuts. appreciate it!

Went here after Blackpink concert because my friends and I were starving and this is the only place that is not too crowded and still open at 11:30pm. The staff is very friendly, and the food is tasty. I was gonna order xiao long bao but it was taking too long and I was almost full, the lady kept on apologizing to me and she said I can get it next time. When I am back in flushing NYC I will go here and take my well deserved xiao long bao 🤣

This was my first time attending a luncheon at the 698 Cafe hosted by my local church in Flushing. I was impressed by the exceptional service and quality of the food. They served us at least 13 glorious dishes each with its unique taste. Our feast started with Roast Duck, Preserved Eggs, and Crabmeat with Fish Maw Soup. Then followed by Lobster (omg, it was so delicious that we nearly finished it before taking a picture :-), Boiled Shrimp, Fish Filet with Spicy Sauce, Lamp Chops, Angus Beef with Asparagus, Crispy Fried Chicken, Spare Ribs, Steamed Sea Bass, Vancouver Crab with Glutinous Rice, and Water Spinach with Bean Curd. I look forward to trying their dinner dishes very soon. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
Big portion sizes, I highly recommend the fried ribs, absolutely delicious! The servers were very attentive. Over atmosphere was perfect for a casual dinner with the family!

Great food, great staff, great facility. The offers are a mix of Cantonese and Szechuan. Usually places that mix both cooking styles do not do it well. 698 Cafe does it really well. Each dish was delicious and fairly priced for Flushing. Enjoy!

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that the seafood at Xindongyifeng is super fresh. I highly recommend the lobster fried rice—it’s really delicious. The sweet shrimp is also a must-try, and the scallion stir-fried clams are amazing. As for the platter, I don’t think it’s necessary. You can get just as much variety with the individual dishes.
