Maybe it was a bad day or my pie sat a bit too long, but I was underwhelmed given the "best of Queens" reputation. The sauce is A-tier. One of the best I've had in fact. Sweet but not too much. Fresh. Very good. Downhill from there though. Cheese was very greasy... which I don't mind but this was like a swimming pool of grease. Good flavor, but not great. The crust was the real let down though. This is what made me think it sat too long. It was soggy. Barely held its shape when folded. Almost no crisp. Very dense and bready. IDK what happened here, but it was a bummer. I'll give it another shot next time I'm in the area.

This is one of the best pizzas in NYC. Dare I say the world? It's that good. You must have it fresh out of the oven. There is no question that it's worth driving out to Queens to try it. It might be the best "new York slice" in my opinion. Definitely in the top 5. Go try it!

We decided to stop here our last night in Queens visiting my boyfriend’s family. He has a severe dairy allergy and the guys were super accommodating by doing half a Sicilian with cheese and half with no cheese. The pizza kept us going on our 12 hour drive back home to NC. Definitely a great place! Also, they’re cash only!!
